Resurrection It’s a blessing that Jesus died, for us so that we may have life and life more abundantly. As I read the story of Jesus crucifixion and resurrection in John chapters 19-20, it is amazing. I thought to myself that is true love, from Jesus our Heavenly Father. Words, cannot explain my thoughts or feelings, but God is LOVE.   As the people thought they were crucifying him because he claimed to be the son of the God, little they knew He was. Just like many of us, when  the enemy tries to cause harm to us, Jesus always turns it around for our benefit. And that’s how it was, they thought they were getting rid of him, but he was coming back stronger than before. He was raised so that he may live and be in each of us. People no longer had to travel miles and look for him. Rather he was and is living in each and every one of us. We can access him anytime. Faith Be determine and dare to believe Each and every one of us has faith. We all have things, we want to accomplish and many times we believe we will.   When we do accomplish our heart desire, it represents our faith.   Faith is your determination to succeed in life. The bigger your faith, the more determine you are. That’s why the Bible said, “ faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrew 11:1).   Wow, that's deep. Think about it, for a moment. Can anyone see your faith? Of course not, you can tell them what you want to do and sometimes, they will encourage you and other times, they will put you down.   But when you are determine, I mean really determine, you can and will overcome any situation, road blocks or obstacles in your way. You would not let anything or anyone stop you. You will be like an express train that don’t stop. You will only stop at your destination. The other day, I went to an appointment and the doctor said

Freedom Blessings to all. Our freedom was brought with a price. That price was death. Yet we have life. We can choose between life and death. Know that your life is in God hands.   God loves us that he send, his only son Jesus to die on the cross. It is at the cross; you have been set free from bondages. At the cross, we now have life. At the cross our savior died for us. At the cross, sin has no power over us. At the cross, it is where life begins. Oh that sweet cross, that Jesus carried for us. All those 39 lashes for us. By his strips we are healed. My God, oh my God we love you so much. I don’t know about you but, I love the Lord so much because he died for me. He is the only God who rose on the third day and he forever lives. He is the Alpha and Omega. He is the great I am. The Lord has been so great and wonderful to us. We need to just take time to say thank you, Lord. Lord, I thank you for all your greatness, your mercies, your peace, your love and kindness.   I love y

Stand, for God is on his way Waiting can be difficult. For it is in the wait you feel weary, but strengthen yourself in the Lord and know, help is on its way. There are times when you ready, go getter; your spirit is up and alive. Then they are times, you just feel like does it worth the fight. The answer is yes, fight. When you are down, be honest with God and begin to worship him. You have to encourage yourself, and be strong. Don’t give in or give up. That’s why as believers it is important not life by feelings. For, it is our feeling and emotions which leads us astray, and into the hands of the enemy. We are human and Christ knows that. Yet there are times when our flesh wants to take over. Un-forgiveness Jesus searches our Heart ... The word un-forgiveness, represent your unwillingness, to let things go. You may say that you have forgiven a person who has done you wrong, but you haven’t forgotten. The fact of the matter is if you haven’t forgotten the wrong, then you did not forgive the person.  When Christ says forgive, he means to forgive. It is impossible, for a person to say that they are obedient to the word of God and yet they are holding grudges, un-forgiveness, and other negative things in their heart. It’s a fact that God doesn’t not see us for our outer appearance but he judge us by what is in our heart. Many people say they believe and trust in God. Yet, their heart is filled with flit. How do you expect him to bless you when you can’t even follow his instructions? One of his commandment is for you to love yourself as you love your neighbors. Consciousness Jesus, is all over us and keeping us alive As children of God, it is important to have a conscious mindset. As believers in Christ Jesus we must be aware that Christ lives in us. For the simple fact, others are looking at us to see our character. If, your character does not line up with the word of God something is wrong.   The fruits of Jesus are “ love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law” (Galatians5:22-23). Amen. Hallelujah.   These are all great characteristic of Christ.   For this topic let us look at self-control. What does it mean?   It means to deny yourself and to have control over your impulse. Sounds easy, but it can be very hard to do when you are upset.   Be aware, as you are being obedient to God and following his directions, the enemy will send fiery darts your way. Acknowledge the presence of the Lord Acknowledge  Yesterday, I wrote on the six steps to seeing God’s glory. The first step is to Acknowledge God. What does it means to acknowledge? According to the dictionary the word acknowledge means to accept or admit the existence or truth of. For believers, it conforms the Spirit of God, is present in our life. Those, who are not believers, would say that there is no God, but how can we say that when the Bible said he died and rose on the third day. Which other god rose from the dead? God is a spirit and he is real. Point blank! The question one should answer is when they hear good thoughts in your mind (head), whom do you belief is speaking to you?  Most people are aware that anything bad comes from the devil. Therefore, it only makes sense that good thoughts comes from our heavenly Father, Jesus.  To fully understand Christ, you have to acknowledge him. GPS, System In order to succeed in life, we need to follow instructions and directions. At times, following instruction can be very difficult, especially, when you are the type of person who likes to figure thing out, on your own. On the other hand, when you are a detail oriented person you can sometime, missed the “big picture”. However, if you only pay attention to the “big picture”, you can miss the details. Regardless, of your style of learning, Christ way is always, the best way. Nevertheless, he encourages us to use wisdom.   Wisdom teaches you how to balance out everything you do. God directs and navigates us through our problems. But, if you are not humble enough, you will miss your exit. And when you are on a mission, you cannot afford to miss your exit.   The other day, I went to church and the Pastor shared with us six things we should be mindful of when we are serving the Lord. Challenge The way, to Christ, is narrow, but it's beautiful Life is challenging, within itself. Many of us are trying to juggle many tasks, before the end of our day. For some of us, we have to work several jobs to make ends meet and care for our family, etc. However, when you involve God in your planning, things always goes smother. He directs our path, assists and guides us, only  when we ask for assistance. But, we have to spent time with him.  Allow him to become your daily bread and water. Those are two main foods, we cannot live without, and so it is with Christ Jesus, we cannot afford not to have him in your life. Everything in life needs balance, and without balance things would be all over the place. Likewise, those who truly trust in the Lord, is aware that we cannot do anything without his grace and mercy.  As we are faced with life challenges, we should be aware that we ourselves are self-destructive. We are our worst enemy, because we fail to follow God'

Ragging Wind  Drink, fresh water from Christ  As you stand, you feel as though every storm is coming. You are trusting in the Lord, yet you feel like he needs to hurry up. You know it is not time, because with certainty, God never comes before time. What are you going to do? Keep standing, keep praying, and keep trusting. Let it be deep within your spirit, to praise the Lord, if he comes, and if he doesn’t come, still praise him. This simply means to trust in him, until the END.  Storms could be anything ragging. It could be a problem on your job, where you feel to quit. A problem, with your children who is refusing to follow your instruction, a spouse who only find faults, an in-law who can’t seems to mind their own business, a neighbor who always complains about you, and the list can be endless. Focus Receive strength, from the Lord.... Trying to stay focus can sometimes, be very difficult. But when you have any assignment to complete, you have to stay focus, in order to complete it. When we read Luke 22:39-43, we would see Jesus praying to his Father about the matter at hand, before, he was crucified. Wow! That was truly being focus, in my opinion. We also read that he asked his disciples to come and prayed with him, but when he return from praying the first time they were asleep. Like many of us, we have things to do, and yet we are spiritually sleeping. This is the time to WAKE UP and fight. You cannot afford to sleep, when the enemy is in your camp. It is time to WAR. You know the saying, “I DECLARE WAR”. Have you ever tried to read or do something and find yourself in and out of sleep (being drowsy)? Yes or no, it can mean two things. You are either naturally tired, or a distraction from the enemy, not to allow you to stay focus to complete your obligations

Shine Shine, God has your back... When Christ, is in your life, you always shine bright like a diamond. But let me say, there are times, when the enemy tries to put dullness over your brightness, but he is a liar from the pits of hell. Sometimes  you receive a negative report and you feel discourage. It is even worst when the person who gives you the report is all NEGATIVE. If you are not carefully, to recognize it's a spirit of discouragement, it can cause you to stop dead in your tracks. The other day, I went to an appointment hoping to get good news. Only to leave the meeting asking myself what just happen. The person was so negative; I could have literally ( the blood of Jesus )strangled them, in Jesus name. But thank God for his grace and mercy. The frighten think is, you know that its devil himself, trying to discourage you and that’s when you have to pray. Unconsciously, I began to worry. Be Determine.... Are you determine, to see your victory We are fairly new in this year of 2013. And many of us know this is year of Double Honor. We have received it, some maybe walking, in it and others are waiting. If you happen to be the one waiting, on it, don’t give up or give in. Rest assured that it will come to pass. Recognize that God does not make a promise and don’t full it. Some of us started off the year all excited, ready to fight, nothing can stop us, but now, you feeling like, “doesn’t the Lord hears me”. The answer is yes, he never shows up before time. He is always on time and never late. Your objective is to continue trusting in the Lord. Despite how you are feeling, seeing or thinking, ignore it all, and trust in the Lord. As you wait, encourage yourself with the word of God. Condemnation, who are you?  After you have confess to God, walk in your freedom..  Yesterday, I had the privilege to speak with a colleague. We usually, just say hello and greet each other in passing, but never really sat and talk, before until now.   During a conversation about work and his studies, he happened to mentions Jesus, and I was happy to hear that sweet wonderful name. So we began to speak about God’s grace, mercy and loved for us. However, my colleague said something that was interesting. He said that he had committed a sin several months ago and awaits his punishment from God. We did not discuss the sin. I replied and said the devil is a liar from the pits of hell, in Jesus name. Because I know there is no commendation for those who are in Christ Jesus. I share with him, some of the wrong thing King David did, and yet he was considered a man after Gods’ heart. Fish Allow the Lord, to restore and make you hold The Lord is awesome and he has a great way of using everyday skills, to bring us, closer to him. Over the weekend, I was cleaning fish. Let me state, that I don’t eat fish, much less know how to clean it. I am used to buying filet fish. However, I decide that I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me (lol). So as I clean the fish, I had an OMG moment. As I hold the fish by its tail and scrape it, the scales began to fall off. Then I began to talk with God and said the fish is like us. When we first come to God, we are filled with layers of scales on our skin. What are our scales? Scales can be the hurt, from past and current relationship. Holding on to anger, hate, non-forgiving of a person who wronged us, the disappointments of life, being broke, bust and disgust etc. are all scales in our life. Rejoice Today, you are next in line As you continue to put your trust in the Lord, know that he will never put you to shame. Even though you might not be where you want to be, keep trusting in the Lord. Know that you will make it, to your destination. Don’t lose hope or focus of your vision. Be aware that God yes, always means yes. He never withholds any good things from us. Sometimes our blessings may tarries, but know when it is time for you to receive and walk into the blessings, no one , not even the devil from the pits of hell can STOP IT! The Lord reminds us to “ be glad, people of Zion, rejoice in the Lord your God, for he has given you the autumn rains because he is faithful. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before. The threshing floors will be filled with grain; the vats will overflow with new wine and oil (Joel 2:23-24). Praise be to his Holy name. Hallelujah! This is God’s promises to us that we must rejoice because he is faithful.
