God looks at our heart...
Most of us know that life and death lies within our tongue. Words have power and it can either heal or hurt a person. And many times in life some people consciously or unconsciously love to say what they want, when they want and how they want. With no regards of how it can affect a person.

Likewise vice-versa, if we are not carefully of how we react to people when they speak to us, it could cause damage. But thank God for blood of Jesus. When your trust is in Christ Jesus, he teaches you self-control.  Many times people feel because you are a Christian, you are a fool. They fail to realize that it is wisdom, when you have self-control and that it is God, who is going to fight your battle.

Today, you might find yourself upset and want to tell some people off. But Wait a minute! Waiting, waiting and breathing! Give it to God, for he will defend you. In fact the word of God said, “…, listen and understand. 11 What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them (Mathew 15:10-11)”Amen. You see my friends, it’s what comes out of your mouth will define you.

For the True and Living God does not look at our action, but our heart and most time when we speak, whether good or bad it comes from our heart. That’s shows who we are inside and outside. Nevertheless, those of us who are in Christ Jesus can go before him daily and ask for forgiveness and guidance to help guide our thoughts, mind, heart, action etc.  We must acknowledge that we are nothing without Christ and we need him daily to help us, leave in peace and harmony. Challenges for today, check your part of speech, before you speak. Be blessed.

What is self-care? When we think of self-care, we usually think of a vacation, going to the spa, shopping, or spending time alone. This can be true, but how do you care for yourself when you constantly put everything and everyone in front of you? Whether it is your spouse, family, children, friends, work, etc. Some people consider self-care selfish, but no one will care for you if you don’t care for yourself. There was a time when I cared for everyone, expecting myself. Don’t get me wrong, I still care for others, but I ensure self-care first. When I was people-pleasing, I set no boundaries; I wanted to please everyone except myself. Whether someone asked me to do something, I did it. Whether I was exhausted, I got the task done. Create in me a clean heart Lord Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God (Psalm 90:1-2). There is no body like Jesus. My friends every day we must make it our business to connected to God. We have to make sure that our heart is clean and righteous before Him. The days are becoming shorter and shorter and at any moment God can come. The question we must answered, is our priority in order? I don’t know about you but I want to make sure my heart is clean every day before the Lord. I want the Lord to create a clean heart and renew His spirit within me. Relax, Jesus is with you! Despite how things are currently looking, don’t through in the towel, just hold on. Help is on its way. God is an amazing God who never ceases to stop helping and guiding us, once we keep our part to trust and acknowledge him. Sometimes as I sit and look at situation in my life and around me, I cannot stop thanking the Lord because I know he is my defender. For I acknowledge that none of the battles I face is mines, but the Lord. Don’t get frustrated and don’t come out from under the covering of God, because know once he is for you, who can be against you. Today we live in a world where people are jealous of others.  Beauty Patience is truly divine, when you are waiting on the Lord. The beauty about patience, is when your complete trust is in the Lord, alone you know that he will always rescue you, despite, what your natural eyes is seeing. Sometimes, while waiting the time seems like it’s not moving and other times it is moving too fast. Nevertheless, God is always on time. Today, I give God praise because he did not give to me, my blessings when I thought I need it. Rather it was on his time. What does disappointment look like? Be BOLD in Christ, Jesus! “And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word” (Acts 4:29). God is amazing and his love for us endures forever. There are times when situation arise in our life and we must confront it immediately. Don’t wait to assess it rather nip in the roots ASAP before it grows and become a tree. How many of you could recall that when you were in the world you were bold. The minute anyone looks at you the wrong way, you were ready to cut them up with either a look or words. Yes, I raised my hands. Some of you might still be that way, but when the enemy sends trouble your way, your mouth is closed.
