Something New

Free
God wants to do something NEW....
Thank God our freedom was brought with the price of death through Jesus Christ. Freedom is awesome and when you have a choice to choose life because Christ, it’s a blessing. And When Christ has set us free there is no need to continue to life in bondages. Most of us are aware that generation curses would visit us in our times. And rest assured today, many of us are recipients of these curse. But thank God for the blood of Jesus, which has set us free from all bondages and curses. We must believe that what happen to auntie Jackie, uncle Paul, cousin Edith and grandma Margret, is not our portion. In Jesus name, Amen.

Yes, not ours because whom the Son set free, is free indeed from all slavery. There are two types of slavery, mental and physical. But the biggest battle is the mental slavery. For it is true you can take a person physical body out a problem. But if there mindset has not change they will continue to live in captivity. The word of God tells us that we are transform by the renewing of our minds. When we look at the children of Israel we would see, how they complain in the wilderness, and that’s why many of them die and did not make it into the promise land. The Lord was doing something great in their life, but they wanted to go back Egypt where they were in slaved.

How many people are lacking to see God’s blessing in their lives because they are focusing on the past and find themselves stagnant. God cannot do something new in our life, when we are too focused on our past; we miss what God has in store for us. In reality, none of us can go back and change what has already happen. But we have the ability to go before God and his throne and petition for better. For the word of God said, “He told them this parable: “No one tears a piece out of a new garment to patch an old one. Otherwise, they will have torn the new garment, and the patch from the new will not match the old. 37 And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. 38 No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins. 39 And no one after drinking old wine wants the new, for they say, ‘The old is better.”(Luke 5:36-39) Amen.

When God has renewed our mind, our life must changes for the better. We cannot go around acting the same way. We no longer do the things we used to do, but rather we are changed and set free from bondages. It is impossible for God to be present in our life and we are not seeing any changes. Something must be wrong. Either we fail to acknowledge the changes or we acknowledge the changes and still life in our past. Nonetheless, God is always good to those who are trusting in him. Today examine yourself and your relationship with Christ and be renewed. For God, wants to do something new in your life. Be blessed and walk in your freedom.
