Relationship

Jesus To my love, Jesus “Praise the Lord, my soul!  All my being, praise his holy name!2 Praise the Lord, my soul, and do not forget how kind he is. 3 He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. 4 He keeps me from the grave and blesses me with love and mercy. 5 He fills my life[b] with good things, so that I stay young and strong like an eagle”(Psalm 103:1-5). When you have a relationship with Christ Jesus, you can withstand all the storms, droughts and all that is coming against you. Relationship with God is important because it helps you to stay focus and it gives you a purpose to live life and live it abundantly. Not until you find yourself with your back against the wall with no help form others do you find yourself crying out to God. Most time He always helps us out. Nevertheless, we must not forget Him. We must not put him on the back burner. But we must acknowledge Him daily and recognize that we are the one who need Him. The word for today is simple, ack

Keeping my eyes on You (Lord)

Image
Blessed Keep your eyes on Jesus!!!  As I walk I am getting tired, but the word of God encourages me to stay on task. There are times you get weary in your walk, but don’t give up, lift your hand to the hill from where your strength comes, for your strength comes from the Lord. Every day you must choose to do right or wrong. Whether it is in your home, job, school, neighborhood, you have to make a choice, to either honor what God say or to do your own will.  But having your own will would not get you anywhere; it only leads down the path of destruction, and into the hands of the enemy.   As you are faced many trials, you start to wonder if God is really there for you. You begin to look around and ponder, then you realize you are going under that’s when you have to cry out for Jesus to help you. Here I am saying, Lord, help me to stay focus, help me to keep my eyes on you and not to be distracted about what I don’t have, but help me Lord to know that better is on its way! Doe

Step by Step “In You, O Lord, I put my trust; Let me never be put to shame. 2 Deliver me in Your righteousness, and cause me to escape; Incline Your ear to me, and save me. 3 Be my strong refuge, To which I may resort continually; You have given the commandment to save me, For You are my rock and my fortress (Psalm 71:1-3)”. There is a great song that “goes one day at a time sweet Jesus it all I am asking of thee, to give me the strength to do everything that I have to do. Yesterday is gone, sweet Jesus and tomorrow may never be mines, Lord for my sake teach me to wait one day at a time”. And yes my friends there are times we have to take our daily walk with Christ Jesus one day at a time. We must follow Him step by step trusting that He will make provision for us. It’s not always easy to trust in Jesus but it is possible when you have faith. Sometimes when I think about all I have to do in one day, I can get overwhelm. But as I begin to worship, somehow the Lord always h

Hope How often do you feel like quitting? But your faith to trust in the Great I Am keeps you going. For those who wholeheartedly trusting in the Lord, know that nothing forming against you will prosper.  Sometimes the pressure makes me want to give up. But I tell you when God is for you; know that He is for you. There are times, when we have to stand still, but the stillness can feel like forever. Know that God is working. As you are waiting, keep your eyes on Him. Keep praying, believing and trusting. Despite all the attacks, that is coming your way! Don’t leave your position, and lean not to your own understanding. “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul (psalms 143:8)” . My friends, know that your victory is in front and not behind. God will come through, for His words are always TRUE. Waiting As I wait, I am feeling alone As I wait, I am feeling inpatient As I wai

Call “ Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”(Psalm 50:15) When you are in trouble, who do you call? Do you call a friend or family member? Or do you call on Jesus? Well you better learn to call on the name of the Lord, for He will deliver you in your times of troubles. God has delivered many of us out of trouble, a million times. Yet when we are faced with another situation, we sometimes tend to panic. We get scared, we worried and sometimes we run from the trials. Nevertheless, you don’t need to panic or question what you are doing wrong. You must know you are on the right path and the devil just wants to distract you. When you are standing on the promises of God and you are trusting in him, nothing form against shall prosper. You must be prepared for anything at anything. You must stay in prayers and meditate on His words day and night, so when any situation comes your way you will call on the name of Jesus. Amen My frien

Overtake

Faithful God is FAITHFUL!!! After every storm a person needs to rebuild. Either, their homes or whatever the storm had destroyed. There are times when we ourselves go through some storms, where the enemy had robbed us of our blessings. However, we cannot sit and cry but we have to strengthen ourselves in the Lord to go and recover. When we look at King David, we see after he came back from fighting a battle, he saw everything he had burned to the ground. His family and his soldier’s family were all taken. This was a  devastating  event, because he was a man of God. Likewise, many of us are God's people and we sometimes don’t expect negative events to happen to us. Especially, when we are doing the will of God and suddenly a storm hits us. Nevertheless, we must strengthen ourselves and go after what is rightfully ours. While David had lost focus on the storm and began to cried, some of the men promised to stone him. How many of us have lost something that was not ours in

Believe  "When I am afraid, I will trust in You. 4 I praise the Word of God. I have put my trust in God. I will not be afraid. What can only a man do to me?" (Psalm 56:3-4) Nobody compares to Jesus, nobody greater than him. Don’t let disorient of your thinking make you believe God is not real. For He is alive, real and well! He is working miracles daily in our life and all you need to do is incline your ears, and heart through faith to trust in Him. Sometimes when I sit and think about what God has brought my family and me through the storms, I know without any doubts, we could not have made it without him. Again I say there is nobody greater than Jesus. What problems or trials are you facing? Whose report will you believe? Let it be rooted in your body, mind, and soul that you will believe the report of the Lord. You have to choose to believe and trust in Him, despite what you are seeing, hearing and feeling. You must believe that He is working things out. Period po

Blessed “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler[a] And from the perilous pestilence. 4 He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. 5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, 6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday (Psalm 91:1-6). Dwelling in the secret place of the Lord is the greatest thing that can happen to you. Don’t worry and don’t fret. Even though thing are looking dark, God has a way of shining His light upon darkness. Yes, the storms are raging and yes everyone is against you. But, rest in the Lord, rest in His secret place. Rest assured that when God is for you who can be against you.

Rejoice

Glad “The Lord reigns; Let the earth rejoice; Let the multitude of isles be glad! 2 Clouds and darkness surround Him; Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.3 A fire goes before Him, And burns up His enemies round about. 4 His lightnings light the world; The earth sees and trembles. 5 The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the Lord, At the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. 6 The heavens declare His righteousness, And all the peoples see His glory” (Psalms 97:1-6) What can you do, but to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. Yes, trust and trust is all you can do. My friends there are times where the road gets bumpy but don’t derail and lose hope in the Lord. Remember that He is always with you and He promises never to leave you or forsake you. God is not a man to promise and not fulfill. His yes means yes and He will always make away for you. Rejoice and be glad. Rejoice because He is faithful. Rejoic

Hope “Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, 5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s” (Psalms 103: 1-5). Everyday gives us a new opportunity to seek a new blessing,a  new direction and a new relationship with the Lord. In order to experience all that life has to offer us, we MUST have a relationship with Christ, Jesus. Without Him we cannot and will not reap life and experience it more abundantly. My friends, there is no one like Jesus. He is truly the way, the truth and the light. You have to get to know Him for yourself. God shows no favoritism and He loves each of us daily. Today I encourage you to just walk a little closer with Him and see the changes your desi

Pray “ Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” 43 An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. 44 And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.[c]" (Luke 22:42-44). I could only image what was going through Jesus mind when he asks his Father to take this suffering away from him. He knew he had his Father work to complete, but I believe the suffering made him fed-up. There are times when you are going through a struggle and believe me, it seems worse than death. Because if you die, you will make to heaven, that’s if you are a believer. But when you have to suffer whether it is in your health, family or finances, it’s the worst struggle. Nevertheless, we must remember that God does not give us anything we cannot handle. As I go through some struggles in my life, I tell you, I get fed-up. I cry, I pray, I sign, and I talk with the Lord. I do whatever

Cry

Image
Hear my cry O’Lord “I say to the Lord, “You are my God.” Hear, Lord, my cry for mercy.7 Sovereign Lord, my strong deliverer, you shield my head in the day of battle” (Psalm 140:6-7). What A wonderful God we serve. One who does not sleep or slumber. One who is faithful and is always on time. One who knows everything before it happens and changes things when we cry out to him. There is none like him. None who takes cares of his sheep in the pastures. He is the great Shepherd who watches over his flock all seasons long. It’s not what others says, determine your outcomes, but it is your faith and attitude to trust in the Lord despite, all odds. It’s your faith to trust that God will take you to your next big altitude and victory. Don’t listen to the negative voices. Don’t worry about your enemies. Don’t focus on lies, but FOCUS on the Lord. Focus on his grace and mercies. Focus on his words that say you are a winner. You are an overcomer. You are the head and not the tail. It

Desire

Heart Many people wants a blessing, but not everyone is will to work for the blessing. In some cases, others want to receive, but they have no desire to have a relationship with God.  And some just refuses to be obedient to His words. We must thank God that He is not partial, but He loves and treat all of us with fairness. There are times we may sometimes ask ourselves is God for real! The answer is Yes! You see, He does not judge us according to our good deeds, but according to our heart, and our obedience to trust in Him. The other day, I asked God why it looks like others are prospering. He told me to stop looking at what my eyes are seeing and to trust in Him. There are times you may feel that you are serving the Lord and your blessings are taking too long. But I learned to trust in Him anyways! I read palm 73,I was surprised to see a man of God struggling with the issues I was facing. In verse 1- 3 it explains, “ Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in hear

My Confidence

Image
Jesus  Sometimes, in life we forget where the Lord our God had brought us out of. As I mediate on Hebrew 10:35-37, “So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For in just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.” I thought to myself, how many times we are in a battles or struggles and we ever so often want to give up. May it be a situation in our family, marriage, job, health, finances, etc. we must trust in the Lord. I discover it is not the time to give up or give into the enemies’ traps and tricks. For it is better to put, and hold your trust in God. For He, is the only one who sit above and watches below.  You have to encourage yourself and ask the Lord for strength on a daily basic to overcome the situation(s). My friends be encourage for great things are happening, for those who believe in Christ Jesus. God is constantl

Heart Where are you going? Are you seeing your way? Are you being obedient to God's will for you or are you choosing to do things your way? Well guess what?  The Lord God wants to help you. But, He cannot because of your disobedience. There is a great cry to Love Him with all your heart. For, He is searching and wants to set you free out of your struggles and bondages. Can you hear and see Him? He says love Me; love Me, with your complete heart. God want to bless you. But to reap His benefits you have to be obedient to His instruction. For He, see the troubles you are in on the job. But you have to cry to Him from your heart. He sees the trouble in your marriage, but you have to cry to Him from your heart. He sees the trouble in your children. But you have to cry to Him from your heart. He sees the troubles in your family. But you have to cry to Him from your heart. He sees the trouble in your finances. But you have to cry to Him from you heart. He sees all your troubles, but

Run When you are grounded in the word of God, nothing will affect you. It’s not just good enough to hear the word of God from others. It is better when you know, it for yourself. Let’s suppose you want to run a race, would you practice daily or would you just sit back and when it is time, to race you run? Of course not! You will do what you have to do to get yourself in shape for the race. You will eat healthier, walk, etc. Nevertheless, you are expecting to succeed, because you have put in the work. Now let us look at our spiritual life. Suppose you are in conflicts, what will you do? Would you run to a friend, Pastor, or therapy? Maybe or maybe not! However, when you are grounded in the word, you will run directly to Christ Jesus, because he has all the answers you need. But you cannot run to him unless, you are trained to know, who he is. How do you become trained? You become trained by spending time in His word. Paul said, “25 everyone who competes in the games goes into

Rest

Peace Seek God's PEACE.... “And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”(Exodus 33:14) We are only human and we try to do so much in our own strength only to find that we can become over worked.  Yes with so much going on it is impossible for us to accomplish any task in our own strength. When we don’t seek the presence of the Lord we become overwhelmed and exhausted.  And that’s not what God has called us to be. He didn't say we must try to do everything in our own strength but he requires that we must spend time in his presence. He wants us to spend time reading his word, praying and fasting so our spirit and physical man can become strengthen. Have you ever feel like you are running on low? Well guess what my friends, it time to slow down, and surrender all to Jesus. Ask him for help and guidance. Know that you can never do all things in your own strength but you can do all things through Christ Jesus. There are times, when I try to

Expected Blessed “Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits” (Psalm 103:1-2) It’s amazing when you are trusting in the Lord and you are expecting a miracle. Most of the time, the Lord does not always bless us the way we expect or the way we plan. He will bless us, no doubt about it, but how He does it, can sometimes be strange. The God we serve show no favoritism. What He does for one, He will do for another. But we must first trust and obey Him. We must first believe in him through faith and we will see His blessings manifest in our lives. Couples week ago, I was praying because I wanted favor in a particular situation I was facing. I was stuck on jury duty for almost a month. Little, that I knew the person who was there to bless me and direct me where to go was on the case. Of, course I would have never though it because of the many times, I try to get off the case. I was amaz
