Praise the Lord....

Image
God is good!!! “Praise the Lord, my soul!  All my being, praise his holy name!2 Praise the Lord, my soul, and do not forget how kind he is. 3 He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. 4 He keeps me from the grave and blesses me with love and mercy. 5 He fills my life[b] with good things, so that I stay young and strong like an eagle”(Psalm 103:1-5). When you have a relationship with Christ Jesus, you can withstand all the storms, droughts and all that is coming against you. Relationship with God is important because it helps you to stay focus and it gives you a purpose to live life and live it abundantly. Not until you find yourself with your back against the wall with no help form others do you find yourself crying out to God. Most time He always helps us out. Nevertheless, we must not forget Him. We must not put him on the back burner. But we must acknowledge Him daily and recognize that we are the one who need Him. The word for today is simple, ac

Trust in the Lord with all your heart.... “ My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, 2 for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity.3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.4 Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”(Psalm 3:1-6). Amen. The Lord is always great and wonderful. His mercies endure forever. He is the Alpha and Omega. He is the Great I am. He is the Begin and the End. He is all that he is. Never stop giving the Lord the praises he deserves, because he is the only one who can rescue, restore and blessed you. Don’t get weary of praying. Don’t get weary of making sacrifice for your family or financial life. Don’t get weary of planting seeds. Don’t get weary of

Peace

I will trust in the Lord... It is so great when God is in your life. You will always feel a sense of peace of mind. Yes you might be faced with trials and tribulations but it doesn’t worry you because you know the God you serve will never leave you or forsake you. When your trust is in the Lord, he reassures us that the battle is not our but his. These simple words can help your faith to realize that God is always in control. Despite what you are feeling, hearing, or seeing, let your hope rest in the Lord. We as Believers must get accustom to seeing our problems the way Christ sees it. For we are thought to call the things, that are not as though they are. If you are sick, you must say I am healed. If you are poor, you must say you are rich. If you are tired, you must say I am strong. For it is true that our words have power. It can heal us or keep us in bondage. The word of God say  “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edificatio

Boldness

Image
Trust in the Lord!!! “And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word” (Acts 4:29). God is amazing and his love for us endures forever. There are times when situation arise in our life and we must confront it immediately. Don’t wait to assess it rather nip in the roots ASAP before it grows and become a tree. How many of you could recall that when you were in the world you were bold. The minute anyone looks at you the wrong way, you were ready to cut them up with either a look or words. Yes, I raised my hands. Some of you might still be that way, but when the enemy sends trouble your way, your mouth is closed. You begin to cry and in some cases you tell others your problems, well known that they can’t help you. Well guess what, the same boldness you have or would have had, use it to against the enemy. Open your mouth and command everything not of God to be uprooted and return back to the pits of hell. Why waste time cryin

Trusting

Hope in the Lord Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6). Amen. It appears that it can sometime be very difficult to move on. We get so use to the old, that when God is doing something new, we miss it. Journey on my friends, and don’t stay in the old. For today God wants to do a new thing in your life. Are you ready? Ready to move forward, ready for a new change, ready to let go of all old things and venture in the new beginning. Yes, yes, yes, we say yes to you Lord. Yes to your will. We accept your new adventures, yes to shining, yes to growing spiritual, mental and physically. Yes to seeing our family working together. Yes to our marriages and family being restore. Yes to increase. Yes to winning all battles. Yes for VICTORY. Yes, Lord yes, is our answer, to all you have in store, for us. Whatever is going on in your life, don’t lose hope. Let

Be connected to Christ!!!! It is important to have a healthy body and mind. For some of us, we always keep our spiritual life healthy and our physical body is lacking. It can be vice versa. Nevertheless, in order to keep our sanity it is important that we find balance. For those of us, who are in Christ Jesus, we know he is our balancer. When you are lacking in your spiritual life, you have to make time and get into the word.  When someone tells you what the word said, you will not just take what you hear, but you will examine it. Anything is possible with Christ Jesus. Nevertheless, when you don’t spent time in the word getting to know him, you become overweight with burdens problems, issues, conflicts, etc. You might look yourself in the mirror and realize something is wrong. However, a pill or physical workout will not help you. You will need the great physician and he is Jesus. But to access him you have spent time in his word getting to know him.  If you put in five minut

God is ALWAYS with you!!! We all have fought many battles, and the Lord has brought us through safety. Then as you overcome one, here comes another. But only this time, it seems like an impossible conflict to get out off. But the devil is a liar.  We must remember that just as God, brought us through the others, he will bring us out, of this one too, in Jesus name. Amen. In fact, you have already won this battle. It’s just a stepping stone for you to get to the next level, to your victory. Each time the Lord gives you victory in your situation, it elevates you to higher ground.  When you are standing on the solid rock and you know the power you have NOTHING cannot stand in your way! Therefore, this situation that seems to present its ugly face, is under your feet because of the Rock, Jesus who has already, crush it. It is in the stillness, that we can truly get focus and we must put our entire trust in the Lord, knowing that he is in control. Despite, how the storm and wind is

Daily Devotion

Image
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me”   John 14:6. Every day as life situation hits us, we tend to put off the problems, until tomorrow. STOP! Face your problems and situations today, so you can have a better tomorrow.  People love to ask others, their opinion, which is fine depending on who you are asking.  But truth is they can only tell you what they think. At the end of the day the choice is up to you. PUSH and trust the Holy Spirit. You will find solutions to all your problems.  Recognize that no one can help you like Jesus! Period!!!! And Point Blank!!!! I don‘t know what situation or problems faces you today, but I know who holds the keys and answer. His name is above all the other names. He is the Great I AM and his name is Jesus. Seek him today and you will find Him. Surrender all to Him and you will find Him. Whatever you do, never stop trusting in Him. Be blessed and have a lovely day, trusting G

Self-Control

Image
As children of God, it is important to have a conscious mindset. As believers in Christ Jesus we must be aware that Christ lives in us. For the simple fact, others are looking at us to see our character. If, your character does not line up with the word of God something is wrong .  The fruits of Jesus are “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law” (Galatians5:22-23). Amen. Hallelujah.   These are all great characteristic of Christ. For this topic let us look at self-control. What does it mean?  It means to deny yourself and to have control over your impulse. Sounds easy, but it can be very hard to do when you are upset.  Be aware, as you are being obedient to God and following his directions, the enemy will send fiery darts your way. Your objective is to have self-control and give the situation to God. Trying to defend yourself is a waste of time and you will just add fuel to the fire. That’s

Faith

Wouldn’t it be nice if you and I can walk on water? Yes, yes, yes, it would be nice for me because I would be able to accomplish something that is totally impossible.  As I drove to work, I was thinking about some of the people in the Bible who had some impossible situations turned into possibilities. I thought for a moment, about some impossible dilemmas, I am facing, and how it can and will be possible in Jesus name.  I thought of Peter, when he asked the Lord to allow him to walk on water ( see Mathew 14:22-33). I wonder how many people would actually have the courage to ask God to allow them to walk on water. And, if he said yes, would they be able do it! I thought maybe some people might come and be like Peter, who easily got distracted by what was going on around him. This caused him to start sinking. Interestingly, the Lord said to me, I do allow people to walk on water, but they get distracted and lose focus on what their objective is.  He said they get cons

Mouth

Image
Are your words, godly? The biggest weapon we possess is the words that come out of our mouth. Many of the time we use words to cut, kill and pull down each other. I couldn’t have to notice that when we take the letter S off of words and it comes to the front it spell SWORD. I wonder why? But God made no mistakes. As children of God we must be so careful of what we say and what come out of our mouth, for we can either bless someone or cause them with our words. Likewise we can either bless ourselves or curse ourselves with the spoken word. It’s no secret that the Bible told us,  “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even a

“I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me” (Proverbs 8:17) God is awesome. Last year I wrote about how God corrects those he loves. And I must say God never ceases to changes. When he loves, he truly loves. Even when we make mistakes, God still come and look for us. He continues to bless and guide us despite our faults and mistakes. In fact the bible said he looks beyond our faults and see our needs.  Dear Lord, I thank you for always working with us despite or imperfections and faulty ways. Corrections Corrections is better than Destruction The word corrections cut deep within my soul. O’ how it hurts, but, I realize God only corrects those He loves. What is the point to see your child doing wrong and say nothing? Would you, allow your two year old to keep touching a hot stove, when you know they will get hurt? Of course not! You would correct them. The love you have for your child, will not allow you to let the problem p

Be Strong

Image
What is courage? The Webster dictionary defines courage as  “mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty” .  In the book of Joshua chapter 1 we see, that it was courage that lead Joshua to follow God’s instruction. It is told that after death of Moses, Joshua was found crying, and the Lord instructed him to be strong and courageous. God told him to get ready to cross His people over the Jordan River. How many times the Lord gives us instruction to complete a task and we feel afraid and sometimes  “chicken out”. We wished we didn’t have to complete the task. And sometimes feels that someone else can and should, do it. But we must remember that the Lord does not give us a task unless, he thinks we can handle it. Like Joshua, we need to stop crying, get ready to cross and strengthen ourselves in the Lord. We need to make room to enter into the land flowing with milk and honey. Not just enter but enjoy the blessings, and bless others as well

In the Midst

Image
The Lord is my Shield!!! Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. 2 Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. 3 Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his[a]; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. 5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.(Psalm 100). It is in the midst of your trials, you should worship. Sometimes, when you are feeling down and out, do not let it get to you. Instead, find a song and sing it to the Lord. There are times, when you have to pray, and uplift your spirit. When no one is around, recognize and be aware that God is always around. We must remember that the enemy never takes any rest, and we must be vigilant at all times. Nevertheless, there are times when our physical strength feels low, and that’s when we must put our trust and

Double Check

Always trust in the Lord Misunderstanding can cause much confusion. And we must recognize it’s a trick from the enemy to make us upset, fight and argue with each other. Nevertheless, because we are children of God we have to power to walk in love, peace and harmony.  Many times, one person may say something and we take offense to it. Other times we just hear what the person is saying wrong. Instead of us asking for clarification we begin to fuss and argue. And right there the devil is having a field day because that’s what he wants. Love, peace and joy are the keys to living a fulfilled and peaceful life. We are people of different culture, background, ethnicity, etc. but we have one thing in common that’s Jesus Christ. He is always the same yesterday, today and forever more. He lives inside of us. We carry the same spirit. All we need to do is be like him. We might not like each other’s but we can love each other through the love of God. The word for today is simple, let

Light

Image
Jesus is the LIGHT!!!! Have you ever notice that when God is not guiding your life, how you wonder around and around in circles?  But we must thank God for his blood and mercies. We must thank him because he always looks beyond out faults and see our needs. He looks beyond our complaints and bless us. He looks beyond our limitations and makes things possible. Don’t be like the children of Israel who wonder for 40 years in the desert. Know times have changes and God remains the same. He now dwells in each of us. We can access him any minute, anytime and anywhere. We know longer have to walk millions of miles or take any white dove to him. Rather he lives in side you and me. The question is, are you seeking his presence, his protection, his guidance or his peace?  God does not look for a perfect man, but he comes to save those who are lost, broken, lonely, challenged, in need of a shepherd and guidance. The Bible teaches us, that  “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, an

Thinking

I will trust in the Lord, at ALL time!!! Lately, I find my mind tends to go back to the past, but I told myself, my past is my past and my future is looking bright. I know it’s a trick from the enemy to make me feel like my life is getting nowhere. But the devil is and always will be a liar, in Jesus name.  My minds is made up that I am standing on Solid Rock, Jesus and I will not be moved. I know without any doubt that I cannot change my past, so I called my mind in Jesus name out of the past and into my future, in Jesus name. Amen. You don’t have to look back at your old life, when you already surrender to God. You don’t need to go back and look back at what you could have done better or change. Truth be told, you are right where you supposed to be. God knew that you would be here today. What you need to do is keep trusting in the Lord, and keep pressing forward, for that which you need is in front of you.  For we cannot change the past be we can change our future when our expec
