Cry

Image
Lord God knows.... “Hear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer. 2 From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I” (Psalm 61:1-2) Amen. God is awesome and loving. But he loves when we keep things real with him and ourselves. Have you ever done something for someone, trusting them and then they let you down? How does it make you feel? You can sometimes get to the point where you want to tell them off. Yes or No! Yet, you might just end some or all communication with them because you hope they won’t cross your path. Now, let’s think about how God feels when we stop trusting in him and disobey his rules. I am sure that he sometimes want to tell us off, but rather he humbly sit and wait for us to come before his throne, asking for forgiveness, which he ALWAYS gives. There are times we sometimes ask God, for something and he delays it. Yet we can become very frustrated and inpatient. We may get upset with God and

Impossible

Possible All things are Possible with Christ, Jesus.... Wouldn’t it be nice if you and I can walk on water? Yes, yes, yes, it would be nice for me because I would be able to accomplish something that is totally impossible. Yesterday, as I had some quiet time to myself, I was thinking about some of the people in the Bible who had some impossible situations turned into possibilities. I thought for a moment, about some impossible dilemmas, I am facing, and how it can and will be possible in Jesus name. Amen! I thought of Peter, when he asked the Lord to allow him to walk on water (Read Mathew 14:22-33 ). I wonder how many people would actually have the courage to ask God to allow them to walk on water. And, if he said yes, would they be able do, it. I thought maybe some people might come and be like Peter, who easily got distracted by what was going on around him. This caused him to start sinking. Interestingly, the Lord said to me, I do allow people to walk on water, but the

Focus God is in control What A wonderful God we serve. One who does not sleep or slumber. One who is faithful and is always on time. One who knows everything before it happens and changes things when we cry out to him. There is none like him. None who takes cares of his sheep in the pastures. He is the great Shepherd who watches over his flock all seasons long. It’s not what others says determine your outcomes, but it is your faith and attitude to trust in the Lord despite, all odds. It’s your faith to trust that God will take you to your next big altitude and victory. Don’t listen to the negative voices. Don’t worry about your enemies. Don’t focus on lies, but FOCUS on the Lord. Focus on his grace and mercies. Focus on his words that say you are a winner. You are an overcomer. You are the head and not the tail. This is the year for the Lord to bless you and if you haven’t seen or receive that which the Lord has promised, it is not time to through in the towels and get disco

Life

Christ What is life without Christ? Many people say they trust in God, but when the pressures of life comes, it is asked where God is. How does one expect to get everything without a struggle or fight to be set free? Perhaps you are in many situations today. May it be in your family, children, marriage, financial etc. know that God can fix it. But what can He transformed, if one doesn’t believe.  The word of God encourages us to  “ therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, whic

Deliver Me

Image
O’ Lord Call on the name of Jesus... “Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”(Psalm 50:15)  When you are in trouble, who do you call? Do you call a friend or family member? Or do you call on Jesus? Well you better learn to call on the name of the Lord, for he will deliver you in your times of troubles. God has delivered many of us out of troubles a million times. Yet when we are faced with another situation, we sometimes tend to panic. We get scared, we worried and sometimes we run from the trials. But guess what, there’s no need to worry or panic, when you know who you are and whom you belongs too. There are times when I find myself in a situation and I begin to panic, if I don’t snap out of it, it would take me over. Each time, I remind myself of the word and promises of God. I know if he brought me out the previous battle, he will bring me out of this one. And as easy as it sounds, I can be difficult, if you are caught off guar

Be Still

God God is Faithful... There are times you just have to let you light shine and give God the glory, despite your circumstances. Sometimes, the enemy will try to make you feel guilty because you find yourself at a stand still waiting for God’s directions. But the devil is and always will be a liar. He has one thing on his mind. That is to kill steal and destroy. But when you are a child of God, you IGNORE the negative voices and in tune your ears to hear the voice of the Lord.  Yesterday, I was very overwhelmed because I had some assignments to do. At one point, I was speaking with my friend and she said to me, calm down you just upset. Take it easy and do one thing at a time. I got home and began to pray despite my feelings. When I couldn’t pray anymore, I listen to music and sometime, in the stillness of my quit apartment, I would worship. Before I knew it, God had helped me to accomplish most of my assignments. But earlier I felt to quit.  Nevertheless I keep saying God d

Test

Image
Faith There are times, when your faith will be tested. As Believers, we say we trust in God, but when storms hits us, that’s when we will know of much we are really trust in Him. Every so often in life, we try to make peace with others around us, because the Bible teaches that we should make peace especially, if it depends upon us. But I must say it is not always easy. Especially, when they person who is fight against you is a loved one. Nevertheless, you must trust in God, even MORE . You have to encourage yourself with His words and promises. You have to learn to shout up, until the appropriate time comes for you to speak. But know that God will deliver you.  None of us, wants to live in confusion with others. But I tell you some people are confusion themselves. They are first hand encounter of what confusion, look like, taste like, and smell like (STINK). Don’t matter how much you make peace with them, it is never good.   But my God said “ So do not fear, for I am w

Renew mind Trust in the Lord... Today we read many articles on how we can cleanse our body and look good. But even when you have tried all these formula, how many people can raise their hands and say the feel better? Most of the time, many people body looks great, and yet when you hear the things that come out of their mouth you can be surprised. You soon realize that all is not so well after all, with them. Let me say, none of us is perfect, but we serve a God, who is. And we must try our best to exemplify him through our daily action. What are you saying about yourself, family and problems? Does it line up with the word of God? Are speaking the things that are not as though they were? If not check yourself. The word of God said, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will” (Romans 12:2). Amen. And in another passage he said,

Trusting “This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”(Joshua 1:9) Trust in the Lord with all my heart and don’t try to understand, has been my motto for past few days. We must trust and trust in the Lord at all times. Even though it can be sometimes challenging especially, if you are expecting change and you don’t see it as yet, you can become frustrate. I realize that frustration only comes when you are not trusting in the Lord wholeheartedly.  The Lord is always with us and he promises not to leave or forsake, if we are strong and courageous. My friends don’t be frustrated. Don’t give in or give up. Rather be strong in the Lord. Trust in the Lord. Renew your strength in the Lord. Whatever you do, don’t stop hoping in the Lord, but hold unto his promises.  When you don’t know what to do, just say JESUS ! The word for today is simple, despite all opposition, keep trusting in the Lord. Da

My Shepherd

Image
Jesus Jesus is your shepherd  There are times we sit back and accept the nonsense the enemy is sending our way. Stop it, stop it! Or times we see love ones in a struggle and all we do is talk about them. But we need to stop it and seek the Holy Spirit. The word of God say we fight not against flesh but spiritual wickedness in high place. People of God wake up and seek God’s advice. Don’t think that which is happening to you is from God because he wants to punish you or your love ones. NO, NO, NO and No it’s a trick form the father of all lies, satan! He wants you to stop trusting in the Lord. He wants you to belief that things will never change. He wants you to think that God does not love you and that why you are suffering. The devil is and will always be a liar. The Lord loves us unconditionally. He looks beyond our faults and see our needs. He is always there with us, in and out on of the fire. He promises never to leave us or forsake us. Don’t, and don’t be fooled by wh

Direction In order to succeed in life, we need to follow instructions and directions. At times, following instruction can be very difficult, especially, when you are the type of person who likes to figure thing out, on your own. On the other hand, when you are a detail oriented person you can sometime, missed the “big picture”. However, if you only pay attention to the “big picture”, you can miss the details. Regardless, of your style of learning, Christ way is always, the best way. Nevertheless, he encourages us to use wisdom.  Wisdom teaches you how to balance out everything you do. God directs and navigates us through our problems. But, if you are not humble enough, you will miss your exit. And when you are on a mission, you cannot afford to miss your exit.  One of our Pastors from church shared with us six things we should be mindful of when we are serving the Lord. He made it straight and clear. It was helpful, because unconsciously we might only do one or the other and

Trusting

Jesus Surrender all to Jesus!!! “Surrender your heart to God, turn to him in prayer, and give up your sins even those you do in secret. Then you won’t be ashamed; you will be confident and fearless” (Job 11:13-15). When your trust is in Jesus, that's a real good thing! There are times when you don’t seem like yourself. You feel frustrated, you feel burden, and you feel  to give up. But that’s when you have to trust in the Lord even more and not on your feelings or emotions. Feelings can make you feel happy today and sad tomorrow. But when you are grounded in the word of God, He overrides every feeling, emotions, loneliness, frustrations, etc. Yesterday, I was not feeling like myself. I felt worried, frustrated aggravated etc. you name it I felt it. At one point, I was praying and asking the Lord for help but it seems like it was not working. Then I began to pray harder, expressing myself to the Lord, telling him how I felt and didn’t understand why I felt that way.

Guide

Trusting How many of you find yourself in some stick situation(s). May it be a relationship with a person, friend, family etc. What do you do when you can’t make up your mind, on what to do? Well let’s see, give it to Jesus, the one and true living God. You have to be willing to listen and do what He says to do. There are times God give us direction on how to untangle ourselves, but we choose only to listen to some of His instruction. It doesn’t work that way. When God gave you direction, you have to use wisdom on how you deal with the situation. You just don’t say well God is for me, who is against me and speak your mind. No you get killed in some case (lol). But ask God what to do, so you come out of your mess! Make sure you are listening to His direction as He guides you out. For Christ is always your navigator, but He uses other to direct you on what to do. People can only guide you, but it is up to you to take what they say and go back to God and ask Him how to apply it.

Renew

Deleting For those of us who are in Christ Jesus we are transformed by the renewing of our minds. Make no mistakes that the enemy wouldn't try to bring the old you out. One must be very careful and be mindful of who you are in Christ Jesus. Some of us were fighter, dance hall queens and kings, gossipers, back stabbers, thief and the list go on. But when you come to Christ and surrender all you become a new person. Nevertheless, the enemy always seems to send someone or something from your pass to carry you back down memory lane. Know that the devil is a liar, in Jesus name. When faced with problems and prosecutions, the enemy loves to try and remind you, of whom you used to be. But guess what? That's old news. You need to let him know he has no power over you! Time and time I see people trying to defend their old self when faced with a situation (I did it before).People say this, they said that, they even say thing you didn't say. But who cares? So long you a know

Faith God is faithful!!! As I was mediating on Luke 5:1-11, I was amazed when Jesus called his first disciples. I recognize that Jesus first spoke to the people by encouraging them with the word of God. And this helped to build their faith to believe. After this he instructed Simon to go out in deep and let his net down. Then Simon said because you said, I will.  I could happen to think, how many times the Lord instructs us to do something and we loved to ask question and think it through. Instead of saying Lord because you said so, I will. Their obedience to Jesus’ instruction caused them to receive a huge harvest, where their nets begin to burst and they called those who were around them to be blessed. Even though, the Lord is calling me to bigger and better things, I sometimes loved to ask too many question. For now, I will have to remind myself not to ask too many questions. Nevertheless, I have to follow and be obedient to his direction on what to do, to get a break th

Goals Trust in the Lord “Write down clearly on tablets what I reveal to you, so that it can be read at a glance. 3 Put it in writing, because it is not yet time for it to come true. But the time is coming quickly, and what I show you will come true. It may seem slow in coming, but wait for it; it will certainly take place, and it will not be delayed. (Habakkuk 2:2-3) Yes, my friends, it a new year, new day, new season and new month. Everything is brand new. Therefore we must learn to forget about the old and make way for the new things God has in store for us. We must have new visions and new ideas. New dreams and new hope and most of all, we must learn to trust in the Lord even more. God is not a man to promise and not fulfill. He doesn’t tell us to go forward and leave us. No He is ALWAYS with us, in good times, bad times and in between times. We should ask ourselves, are we with him? Everyday God makes Himself, available and accessible to us. But if we don’t make time

Faithful Keeping trusting in the Lord Welcome to New Year 2015 and yes God is faithful. What are you plans for this new year. For some it is there weight, better job, marrying, good health, etc. Whatever it is make sure God is in your plan. For me, it a closer relationship with the Lord. For I have recognize without God in my plans, it useless. My friends, always put God first in everything you do and he will direct your path. Whether your plans include weight loss, better job, great family, etc. make sure a closer walk with Jesus is included. This is a new year and new day but God is always faithful in our lives. It doesn’t matter the day, time, or place, He is always with us. The question we should ask ourselves, is are we with him?           My son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands; For length of days and long life And peace they will add to you. Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the ta
