Hold my Hand

Trusting “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” 43 An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. 44 And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.[c]" (Luke 22:42-44). I could only image what was going through Jesus mind when he asks his Father to take this suffering away from him. He knew he had his Father work to complete, but I believe the suffering made him fed-up. There are times when you are going through a struggle and believe me, it seems worse than death. Because if you die, you will make to heaven, that’s if you are a believer. But when you have to suffer whether it is in your health, family or finances, it’s the worst struggle. Nevertheless, we must remember that God does not give us anything we cannot handle. As I go through some struggles in my life, I tell you, I get fed-up. I cry, I pray, I sign, I talk with the Lord, whatever I ne

Courage

Image
Faith What is courage? The Webster dictionary defines courage as “mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty”.  In the book of Joshua chapter 1 we see, that it was courage that lead Joshua to follow God’s instruction. It is told that after death of Moses, Joshua was found crying, and the Lord instructed him to be courageous. God told him to get ready to cross His people over the Jordan River. How many times the Lord gives us instruction to complete a task and we feel afraid and sometimes “chicken out”. We wished we didn’t have to complete the task. And sometimes feels that someone else can and should, do it. But we must remember that the Lord does not give us a task unless, he thinks we can handle it. Like Joshua, we need to stop crying, get ready to cross and strength ourselves in the Lord. We need to make room to enter into the land flow with milk and honey. Not just enter but enjoy the blessings, and bless others as well.   Ou

Obedience

Renew Everyone wants changes. Either it is for you, a friend, a family member etc. But the question is how does change comes? Some people believe that changes come by physical appearance and doing things in an outward manner for others to see. But, then they soon realize it is not working. Of course not! When you need changes you must seek the Holy Spirit, for He know the exact changes you need. You might not always want to be in an agreement with the Lord, but truth be told, He is always right! A person can spend years changing themselves, based on what others say, but that does not mean you have change. You only changed, what was told to you. But when you changed because of what the Spirit of the Lord says, it is then you will know you have changed. How do you know you are changed? When you allow God in and gave Him free access to your entire mind. He works inside out, not the opposite way around. The Lord said, “ Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transfor

Peace

Committed Trust in the Lord Sometimes in life, you have to just leave people alone, and allow God to deal with them. When you know that God is working in your life, you don’t have to worry or fret yourself about evil doings. You must keep trusting in the Lord and know vengeance is his and not yours. Yes, the bible teaches us that we should make peace, especially when it depends on us. But there are times, the enemy uses people or things to get you upset. Because of this people assumed that you must stay quiet when they are doing wrong. Does anyone, know what I am talking about? It is true of the words of God, which states that “5 if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man

Seed

Image
Harvest Harvest in the Lord In order to reap a harvest you must be willing to plant. But it is difficult to plan when you are not committed. What is commitment? It’s when you are willing to do whatever, it takes to succeed. Meaning, everything that is good and respectable in the land following the law, not stealing from others and saying it is yours. Let’s us suppose you want to receive a good paying job. You will go to school and learn in order to obtain your degree, which will mostly likely bless you with a good paying job. As you study, to show yourself approval, you are planting a seed. The harvest comes after you receive your degree and find the jobs you desire.  If you want to see changes, in your loved ones, you will pray, fast and speaking blessings over their lives. That will be your seed for them and eventually when the change comes; your family and you will reap the fruits and it benefits. Everyone wants a harvest, but not everyone is will to make a sacrifice

Race

Trusting Keep trusting in Jesus Starting all over can be difficult. But when you are a child of God, he makes it easier. What would have taken you years, God can do in months, days, or second. There are times when we are working on a goal and we never complete it. We start and then we put it down. Soon  you find yourself to be  working on a new project. Next you put that one down, and begin another. It’s a TRICK from the enemy to have you start and never complete. Our loving Father Jesus Christ is not the author of confusion. He has many plans and visions for us. But it is our responsibility to complete the job in order to see our double honor. It is not always easy but, when you start something, you must complete it. If you need to start all over, just do it. Know that God is with you and he will never forsake. Listen to what Paul said about the race, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7). In order words, he complet

In the midst

Worship It is in the midst of your trials, you should worship. Sometimes, when you are feeling down and out, do not let it get to you. Instead, find a song and sing it to the Lord. There are times, when you have to pray, and uplift your spirit. When no one is around, recognize and be aware that God is always around. We must remember that the enemy never takes any rest, and we must be vigilant at all times. Nevertheless, there are times when our physical strength feels low, and that’s when we must put our trust and hope in the Lord, because he is our strength and refugee in times of trouble. My friends, Jesus is always your present help in times of trouble. When God is your strength, and your hope is in him, NOTHING will take you out! Maybe you are facing some impossible situation, where you feel that you will not come out. But let me tell you, the God we trust in, will bring you out. In fact, you already have the victory. So encourage yourself with the word of God and know VICT

Journey with Jesus

Image
Walk Jesus my friend The journey is beautiful, even though at times, it seems difficult. It is worth being free. It’s a blessing when you know who you are and whom you belong too. Trials and tribulations may come your way but, it has no effect on you. Yes, NO EFFECT on you because you are a child of God and he always takes care of his children. Despite, what your physical eyes are seeing, be encouraged and be empowered because no weapons forming against shall prosper. Sometimes, when you are fighting a battle, the journey seems like it is forever. But know that there is always an exit, when you are in Christ Jesus. Every situation has an entrance but, once you are obedient and faithful to Jesus, with a certainty there’s an exit. To find your exit, you must push, fight, fast, pray, do what you need to do and God will do the rest. Nevertheless, you will find your exit. Yes you might be weary and frustrated, but, push and keep trusting in the Lord, a little more. The Lord reas

Faultless

Help Everyone is perfect in his or her own way.  We all do things in way, we each feels is good. However, what we may thing is good, another find faults. Or we ourselves, sometimes thinks we do things better than someone else. Our eyes are quick to find faults and point out the mistakes of others. Yet, we cannot see our own faults. However, we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. For it is a fact, that none of us is perfect, it is ONLY God, who is, the perfect man. He is blameless and spotless. We can try our best to do thing the correct way, yet there will always be mistakes. When you are rigid, and believe that everything has to be your way or the highway. Then, you will be on that highway by yourself. In order for God to use us, we must decrease, so that he may increase. We have to get rid of our ways and allow him to use us, where he sees fits. If you only see thing through a “tunnel vision” of your eyes, then all you see is a person faults and you leave no

Courage

Image
Standing “This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”(Joshua 1:9) Trust in the Lord with all my heart and don’t try to understand, has been my motto for past few days. We must trust and trust in the Lord at all times. Even though it can be sometimes challenging especially, if you are expecting change and you don’t see it as yet, you can become frustrate. I realize that frustration only comes when you are not trusting in the Lord wholeheartedly.  The Lord is always with us and he promises not to leave or forsake, if we are strong and courageous, trusting in Him. Don’t be frustrated. Don’t give in or give up. Rather be strong in the Lord. Trust in the Lord. Renew your strength in the Lord. Whatever you do, don’t stop hoping in the Lord, but hold unto his promises.  The word for today is simple, despite all opposition, keep trusting in the Lord. Dare to believe and stand on his promises an

Hope It doesn't matter who says what or what you are feeling. It’s who you are believe in and trusting in. That should always be the Rock, Jesus, the one and true living God. He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the first and the Last. The one who is, and the one who is to come. Yes, his name is above all names, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Christ is he.  My friends trust not in others. Trust not in man, but Jesus. Trust not in your thinking, but in the thinking of Christ.  Whose report will you believe during your times of difficulties?  Make sure it is the Lord, report for nothing is over until, He says so. Don’t worry. Don’t fret. Don’t get tired. Don’t stop hoping. Don’t stop trusting. But renew your faith and strength in the Lord. Remember the Lord your God. Remember how he brought you out of Egypt. Remember how he parted your red seas. Remember that he is always with you. Remember his words that he will never leave you or forsake you and that he is ALWAYS

Rain

Image
Flourish How many of you desperately want to see the abundance of rain? I know I do. When your garden is dry, and you want it to flourish, you need to seek the Heavenly Father, so he can rain down on you. Have you ever notice when rain falls and there is a dead or malnourished garden how it comes alive. Well, that’s what some of us need. We need showers of blessings to rain down, rain down on us in Jesus name, Amen. But guess what? I can smell and hear the abundance of my blessings come down, because I know the Lord, God Almighty is faithful to those who hope is in him. Do you remember the story of Elijah in 1 kings 18:41-45, where there was a drought in the Land, because it did not rain for three years. The Prophet Elijah went to pray earnestly, on the top of mountain Carmel for rain.  He sent one of his servants many times check at the sea to see if there was rain. He went first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth times and there was no rain.  But! On the seventh t

Afraid

Image
Trust God is truly amazing. It’s a blessing when you wait until the Lord blesses you as supposed to you rushing. We all know that God is faithful and always on time. However, when you are in the fire you don’t think so. Does anyone agree? When the fire is blazing, the first thing that sometimes comes to mind is where God is. Then as you meditate on his word and begin to put your complete trust in him, you feel a sense of peace.  But when you wait on him and you receive your blessings, you are filled with joy because you realize, had he given it to you, to early you might not have appreciate it, as you do now. Throughout your walk with Christ, it is important for you to know, that you will be faced with many trials. Nevertheless, he will make away. When in doubt about your situation, remember your previous battle and the victory you received. Know that he will deliver you, each time you put your trust in him. I discovered that many times most of our trials are the same. Someti

Fear Not

Image
Standard In every situation we are faced with, the Lord teaches us, how to use wisdom. When you are a child of most high God and your complete trust is in him, you must be obedient to his words. Many of us know what the word of God says and we try our best to life by it daily with God helps. Nevertheless, there are some events that seem to keep coming our way. More like some “goliaths”. But we must stand strong in the Lord and know these giants must come down! As you begin to assess your situation, you have to check and see where it is coming from. Some of us might beware of where the enemy is attacking, but afraid to say something. But the devil is liar. In Jesus name, Amen! We cannot be children of God and when we see enemy, we are at a standstill because of the spirit of fear. No we must be bold and trust in the Lord even more, that he will destroy them. To be honest, they are times we are trusting in the Lord, but we sometimes go back to our old ways of doing things and n

Faithful God

Image
Prayer What A wonderful God we serve. One who does not sleep or slumber. One who is faithful and is always on time. One who knows everything before it happens and changes things when we cry out to Him. There is none like Him. None who takes cares of his sheep in the pastures. He is the great Shepherd who watches over His flock all seasons long. It’s not what others says determine your outcomes, but it is your faith and attitude to trust in the Lord despite, all odds. It’s your faith to trust that God will take you to your next big altitude and victory. Don’t listen to the negative voices. Don’t worry about your enemies. Don’t focus on lies, but FOCUS on the Lord. Focus on His grace and mercies. Focus on His words that say you are a winner. You are an overcomer. You are the head and not the tail. This is still the year of double honor and if you haven’t seen or receive that which the Lord has promised, it is not time to through in the towels and get discourage. No, no, no,
