Are you following, Jesus's signs? As I was mediating on  Luke 5:1-11 , I was amazed when Jesus called his first disciples. I recognize that Jesus first spoke to the people by encouraging them with the word of God. And this helped to build their faith to believe. After this he instructed Simon to go out in deep and let his net down. Then Simon said because  you  said, I will.  I could happen to think, how many times the Lord instructs us to do something and we loved to ask question and think it through. Instead of saying Lord because  you  said so, I will. Their obedience to Jesus’ instruction caused them to receive a huge harvest, where their nets begin to burst and they called those who were around them to be blessed. Even though, the Lord is calling me to bigger and better things, I sometimes loved to ask too many question. For now, I will have to remind myself not to ask too many questions. Delete all the junk out your life in Jesus name. Amen! For those of us who are in Christ Jesus we are transformed by the renewing of our minds. Make no mistakes that the enemy wouldn't try to bring the old you out. One must be very careful and be mindful of who you are in Christ. Some of us were fighter, dance hall queens and kings, gossipers, back stabbers, thief and the list go on. But when you come to Christ and surrender all you become a new person. Nevertheless, the enemy always seems to send someone or something from your pass to carry you back down memory lane. Know that the devil is a liar, in Jesus name. When faced with problems and prosecutions, the enemy loves to try and remind you, of whom you used to be. But guess what? That's old news. You need to let him know he has no power over you! Extra, Extra, read all about it!The Book of life When we read and follow instructions it allows us to construct or put something together. However, even with instruction, how many of us actually read  all  the directions. I am guilty of that, sometimes. I once bought a printer and I did not read the direction. I assumed because I just took out the old one, the new one can be connected in the same spot. However, it did not work correctly. I had to go and look at the direction, and then I soon realized a plug was not in its  correct  place. Today many people don't want to follow directions for anything. They just want the finish product and that it. Everything comes express. You can by a piece of furniture and upon delivery, you can direct the delivery man, where to put it. Trust the Lord with your family!!! We lived in a very demanding world. You have to go here, do this, help them, etc. But, what is your priority? For this topic we will focus on family. Yes, aga in,  family. For some of us, we can't live with them and we can't live without them. The Lord promises us that he will bless our family, from generation to generation. We should ask why he said family. The Bible tells us that God told Noah to build an Ark, and because of his obedience, he and his family were saved. We must realize that God words, never changes and he mean what he says. The object is to keep praying and trusting in the Lord to bless and save our family members while they are alive.  I say alive because once a person is gone, that’s it. Yesterday, I heard that one of my cousin passed way and I was shock, because I had spoken to him about month ago and he was fine. We were talking about God’s goodness and his mercies. Keep trusting in Jesus We  all  need strength on a daily basis to keep us going. It is one of the key ingredients that help us to accomplish our every day assignments. In the world lack of strength causes “ burned out ”. This occurs when you have a too much thing on your plate. You might find yourself, running around, and around not taking time, to care for yourself. The stress and demands of this world is work, work, work, pay bills and work again to make ends meet. You are constantly force to keep going, like the “energizer bunny” that never stops.  You don’t even have the time to focus and realize you are running on empty. God tells us to  cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7)).  He encourages us to fellowship with him daily. God's words is always TRUTHFUL!!! Deceptions are a very hard pill to digest, especially when the deceiver is a loved one. I have thought long and hard trying to  understand, but the Lord said it’s not necessary, because the battle is His. As you walk in this light and it shines so bright, you will expose darkness. There is no way darkness can hide when you are walking under God's covering. There are times we think we know a person; only to find out they have deceived you. The hardest part is when the person literally don’t see the harm they have caused. It appears that they look at you as though everything is okay. Deep down inside of you, you fight because you thought it is the right and godly thing to do. Simply to find out that which you are fighting for, did not wanted to be fought for.
