Faith What is faith? Is it to believe despite not seeing or is it to only believe when you have received? The word of God says, “ Now faith is being sure we will get what we hope for. It is being sure of what we cannot see” (Hebrew 11:1). Amen. Now when we look at this passage from the Holy Bible, it simple explains that faith is things we hope for despite what we are seeing. It’s things we are hoping to change and will changed, because we believe. Not just believing, but because we are trusting in the Lord despite what we see with our eyes. We cannot expect to see changes in our life, if we are based it only on what we are seeing. No we must believe despite not seeing, because God only works when we are in faith. We must be in faith in and out of season. We must trust that God always have our best interest.  Daily God is FAITHFUL We all have a responsibility to pray every day seek the Lord’s guidance. We also have a responsibility to stand and pray for our family members, friends, neighbors, loved ones, etc. We must pray that they come to experience Christ in their lives. We must pray that God will guide, protect and keep them out the path of danger. Sometimes all we can do is stand in the gap. As we stand in the gap, God is closing it for them. He is bringing them closer and closer to him, so they veil of darkness can be remove from their eyes. My friends, whatever trials you are facing, whether it’s in your health, family, finances, whatever, don’t stop crying out to the Lord. Be determining to overcome. Be determining to pray a little more. Be determining to keep knocking at doors until the correct one opens. Be determined to OVERCOME! Whatever you do, do in faith, knowing God will answer.  Stand God is with you..... “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."(Joshua 1:9) When the storms of life starts to rage it’s not time to run away but time to face it head on, knowing that God is with you. When the enemy can’t get to you, he uses things, people, or place to get to you, but that’s when you stand firm with the shield of God and let the devil know that no weapon forming against you shall prosper, in Jesus name.  Mercy God is in CONTROL!!! The Lord is great and his mercy endures forever. It’s amazing when you give God total control of your life, how things always work together for his praises and your benefit. When God is in control, nothing forming against you can prosper. The storms of life my come but with certainty you will always overcome. It doesn’t matter if the storms come from east, west, north or south, God is always there with you. As, I drove to work this morning, I was thinking of the current situations I am facing and the ones I faced before, and my conclusion was if God brought me out the old ones, he will bring me out this one and the many more to come. Trusting Keep hoping in the Lord.... Sometimes, in life we forget where the Lord our God had brought us out of. As I mediate on Hebrew 10:35-37, “So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For in just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.” Amen. I thought to myself, how many times we are in a battles or struggles and we ever so often want to give up. May it be a situation in our family, marriage, job, health, finances, etc. we must trust in the Lord. I discover it is not the time to give up or give into the enemy’s traps and tricks. For it is better to put your trust in God because He, is the only one can change your situation. You have to encourage you self and ask the Lord for strength on a daily basic to overcome the situation(s). Whatever you do, know that God will never leave you or forsake you.  Standing Jesus is your Judge Test and trials comes into our life to strengthen and empower us. There are time when you are going through your trials, you feel alone. But know that's a lie from the enemy himself. You must know and know that God is always with you; he will never leave or forsake you. We all need to go through the fire. There is no escape, but comfort when you know that God is with you. No one should expect to get a victory without any fight. If your back was not against the wall, would you call on Jesus? For some of us of course not! We will not call on him, because there was not a need. Our backs against the wall represent our trials. ? My friends, whether your back is against the wall or not, you must learn to call on Jesus, every minute, every second, and at all times. When we overcome that means we have won the battle.
