Peace, Love and Hope

Hold onto Jesus!!!
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11).

 When your trust and hope is in the Lord, your plans for the future will always look bright. Everyone wants to get ahead. They want the best. They want to succeed and prosper in this land flowing with milk and honey. But you cannot succeed and prosper if you are not trusting in the Lord. Second if you are not obedient to him, worst yet. Nevertheless, when you don’t follow his directions, you will end up worse than before.

 Nothing comes easy, but with God's strength you can do all things. There are times I want to give up, I want to quit, but when I keep my eyes on the price of Jesus, I gain the strength to push forward knowing that God is ALWAYS in charge. It’s not always easy. Believe me there are times, if I don’t ignore those negative thoughts about “I can’t” and “it’s impossible”, I will end up in trouble. Instead I listen to my inner man, which encourages me that I can do all things through Christ, Jesus who strengthen me. Amen

 I don’t know what struggles you are facing but, be encouraged.  Know that God is not a man to promise and not fulfill. Keep your eyes focus on Him. Look forward, and see your blessings ahead of you. Hold onto your faith, because it’s your faith that will see you and bring you through your storms. God only operates by our faith, nothing else. Unless, your faith is active and alive, God cannot work. Even if your faith is like a mustard seed, it can move mountains. Be encouraged today and press forward knowing that God has a plan and purpose for you. Be Blessed.

What is self-care? When we think of self-care, we usually think of a vacation, going to the spa, shopping, or spending time alone. This can be true, but how do you care for yourself when you constantly put everything and everyone in front of you? Whether it is your spouse, family, children, friends, work, etc. Some people consider self-care selfish, but no one will care for you if you don’t care for yourself. There was a time when I cared for everyone, expecting myself. Don’t get me wrong, I still care for others, but I ensure self-care first. When I was people-pleasing, I set no boundaries; I wanted to please everyone except myself. Whether someone asked me to do something, I did it. Whether I was exhausted, I got the task done. Create in me a clean heart Lord Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God (Psalm 90:1-2). There is no body like Jesus. My friends every day we must make it our business to connected to God. We have to make sure that our heart is clean and righteous before Him. The days are becoming shorter and shorter and at any moment God can come. The question we must answered, is our priority in order? I don’t know about you but I want to make sure my heart is clean every day before the Lord. I want the Lord to create a clean heart and renew His spirit within me. Relax, Jesus is with you! Despite how things are currently looking, don’t through in the towel, just hold on. Help is on its way. God is an amazing God who never ceases to stop helping and guiding us, once we keep our part to trust and acknowledge him. Sometimes as I sit and look at situation in my life and around me, I cannot stop thanking the Lord because I know he is my defender. For I acknowledge that none of the battles I face is mines, but the Lord. Don’t get frustrated and don’t come out from under the covering of God, because know once he is for you, who can be against you. Today we live in a world where people are jealous of others.  Beauty Patience is truly divine, when you are waiting on the Lord. The beauty about patience, is when your complete trust is in the Lord, alone you know that he will always rescue you, despite, what your natural eyes is seeing. Sometimes, while waiting the time seems like it’s not moving and other times it is moving too fast. Nevertheless, God is always on time. Today, I give God praise because he did not give to me, my blessings when I thought I need it. Rather it was on his time. Had I receive my blessings too earlier, I would have missed his true power being manifest in my life. I would be lost in the world without any hope for my future. What does disappointment look like? Be BOLD in Christ, Jesus! “And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word” (Acts 4:29). God is amazing and his love for us endures forever. There are times when situation arise in our life and we must confront it immediately. Don’t wait to assess it rather nip in the roots ASAP before it grows and become a tree. How many of you could recall that when you were in the world you were bold. The minute anyone looks at you the wrong way, you were ready to cut them up with either a look or words.
