New Season

Trust Jesus FIRST!!!
Welcome into a new year and a new season. Yes, God has allowed many of us to see another day and another new year. Praises be to his Holy Name. God is God and he never stops loving us despite our faults and needs. The question we must answer is, are we putting God in everything we do? Are we acknowledging him and trusting that he is always with us despite not receiving that which we need on our own time. God loves us and he always does what's best for us. He works on his timing and not ours, and many times because we didn't see our blessings, we tend to blame God.

No my friends, the problem is not with God but with us. We must be aware that we are not in control of our own destiny but he is. That’s if you are trust in him and allowing him to direct your path. We must come to the understanding that God does not give to us what we want when we think we want it. But rather when he sees fits and knows we are ready. For we are similar to a new born baby, we do not give them solid food as soon as they are born. We give them milk until the appointed time and then we introduce them to solids.

And so it is with God, he just doesn't give to us what we want, right away. He waits until we are ready. So we must trust and wait on him, we should include him in everything we do. We must put him in the center of everything, trusting that he will make away when it seems to be no way. The word of God says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct[a] your paths.7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil.8 It will be health to your flesh,[b]And strength[c] to your bones” (Proverbs 3:5-8). Amen

This a new year and a new season to be blessed, to receive more blessings and uncommon favor from the Lord.  But you must be ready to put him first and not exclude him because you didn't see that which you were hoping for. Instead, trust in him even more; knowing that he has your best interest and he will expand your territory when he sees fits. As the New Year begins let your faith arise to trust in the Lord, more than ever. Place him in everything you do and you will see great and mighty things being done in your life. Dare to trust him. Be blessed.

What is self-care? When we think of self-care, we usually think of a vacation, going to the spa, shopping, or spending time alone. This can be true, but how do you care for yourself when you constantly put everything and everyone in front of you? Whether it is your spouse, family, children, friends, work, etc. Some people consider self-care selfish, but no one will care for you if you don’t care for yourself. There was a time when I cared for everyone, expecting myself. Don’t get me wrong, I still care for others, but I ensure self-care first. Create in me a clean heart Lord Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God (Psalm 90:1-2). There is no body like Jesus. My friends every day we must make it our business to connected to God. We have to make sure that our heart is clean and righteous before Him. The days are becoming shorter and shorter and at any moment God can come. The question we must answered, is our priority in order? I don’t know about you but I want to make sure my heart is clean every day before the Lord. I want the Lord to create a clean heart and renew His spirit within me. Relax, Jesus is with you! Despite how things are currently looking, don’t through in the towel, just hold on. Help is on its way. God is an amazing God who never ceases to stop helping and guiding us, once we keep our part to trust and acknowledge him. Sometimes as I sit and look at situation in my life and around me, I cannot stop thanking the Lord because I know he is my defender. For I acknowledge that none of the battles I face is mines, but the Lord. Don’t get frustrated and don’t come out from under the covering of God, because know once he is for you, who can be against you. Today we live in a world where people are jealous of others.  Beauty Patience is truly divine, when you are waiting on the Lord. The beauty about patience, is when your complete trust is in the Lord, alone you know that he will always rescue you, despite, what your natural eyes is seeing. Sometimes, while waiting the time seems like it’s not moving and other times it is moving too fast. Nevertheless, God is always on time. Today, I give God praise because he did not give to me, my blessings when I thought I need it. Rather it was on his time. Had I receive my blessings too earlier, I would have missed his true power being manifest in my life. I would be lost in the world without any hope for my future.     In life, you will experience many disappointments. But the one person you cannot afford to disappoint is yourself. When everyone has let you down, you must learn to encourage yourself. What does disappointment look like? Be BOLD in Christ, Jesus! “And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word” (Acts 4:29). God is amazing and his love for us endures forever. There are times when situation arise in our life and we must confront it immediately. Don’t wait to assess it rather nip in the roots ASAP before it grows and become a tree. How many of you could recall that when you were in the world you were bold. The minute anyone looks at you the wrong way, you were ready to cut them up with either a look or words. Yes, I raised my hands. Some of you might still be that way, but when the enemy sends trouble your way, your mouth is closed.
