Helping Hand
“Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his[a]; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture” (Psalms 100:1-3).Amen.
There are times you ask the Lord for a helping hand. You find yourself in some situations, that you are not quite sure how you got there. Many of the times you don’t have to look too far. The problem and the opponents are right around you. When you read the story of Joseph in beginning of Genesis 37, you would read how he shared his dreams with his relatives and they doubted him. As you continue to read, you will notice that it was his brothers who sold him into slavery, because of jealously. For some of us it’s our family, friends, co-workers, and sometimes generation curses, which tries to keep us down. Nevertheless when you are a child of God, nothing and no one can keep you down. You must be determining in your heart and mind that God is your present help in times of trouble. The Lord promises us that he will never leave us or forsake us, in good or bad times.
It’s doesn’t matter what is coming your way, let your hope and trust be in the Lord. As it is written no weapons forming against us shall prosper. God is your help, he is your provider, he is your rescuer, and he is and must be your everything! So when you find yourself in a storm don’t listening to the voices of the enemies, but look to Jesus and recognize his hand is stress out to pull you out. Just has he rescue, save and made Joseph a King. He will do the same for you.
