My friends, when you have a close relationship with Jesus, you can rest assured that He will never leave you or forsake you. A friendship with Christ, allows you to be yourself. You don’t have to be something you are not. I have come to the realization that negative people around me, was not my problem. Rather I needed to find myself and love myself. Once I grabbed a hold of Jesus unconditional love for me, I refuse to settle for less. My friends, stop looking for love in the wrong places. Love is more than words and emotions. The word of God says, “for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Amen. We as people waste our time worrying about people, but we fail to realize that when people treats us bad, talk about us or hates us it’s for a reason. What we don’t realize it’s an opportunity God is using to take us to the next level in life. Let us look at it together in the scripture, “In that hour Jesus said to the multitudes, “Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to take Me? I sat daily with you, teaching in the temple, and you did not seize Me. 56 But all this was done that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples forsook Him and fled.(Mathew 26:55). You don’t worry about the naysayers, because that’s just who they are. When you truly understand the power of unconditional love (Jesus), you begin to realize that all is going to be okay. The word of God encourages us that “A little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found. 11 But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity. 12 The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them; 13 but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he knows their day is coming” (Psalm 37:10-13). There are times He give us instruction on how to deal with some storms and issues and we tend to only focus on some of it or none of it. Obedience is the key to your success. Obedience to His commands allows us to know that we are trusting in Him. It allow us to know that we are not relying on ourselves but rather the Holy Spirit. Truth is, sometimes He tells us to do something and it may look stupid in the eyes of man, but we must be obedient. What look foolish is exactly what you need to do in order to get your breakthrough. What has He been telling you to do that you are not doing. His words says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
