Allow God, to be  in your plans....

Motivated

To win any battle, you have to be motivated. You have to be ready for a war. But before the war, you must have a plan on how you will defeat your enemy. Nevertheless, Christ MUST first, be, in your plan. You will not win any battle without him. You might get a little victory, but to kill the enemy dead, never to return, you need Jesus.

As I thinking, about the many victory King David had I realize he was motivated. He didn’t lean on his own understanding, nor did he fight in his own strength. At present time, for those of us who truly serve and trust in the Lord, we are aware that God is our only hope and source. Many people in the Bible knew this, and this is why we today, who are better off than them, should recognize it. In past, they had to wait to hear from the Lord, but now he lives inside of us and we can access, him anytime. Amen, Hallelujah.

When we look at the passage in first Samuel 30, we would see King David was faced with a situation. However, I believe he was ready to fight because he knew God was with him. However, he asked before he fought. “Then David asked the LORD, "Should I chase after this band of raiders? Will I catch them?" And the LORD told him, "Yes, go after them. You will surely recover everything that was taken from you” (1 Samuel 30:8). Amen.

What did King David, do? He asked first, before he pursue. Today, you may be faced with some situation in your life. The question that you need to answer is, are you asking the Lord, before you pursue? There are times, we sometimes have the determination, motivation, and some skills, on what we want to accomplish. Yet, we fail to ask the Lord, if we should pursue or not! Many times, we are set in our minds, about what we want and already have a plan. We sometimes succeed, and then we hit a wall. We find ourselves, stagnant, not moving at a standstill. It is not that God is punishing us, but the simple truth is we did not check in. Or if we did check in, we did not listen to his instructions, CAREFULLY.

The thoughts and plan(s) God has for each of us are ALWAYS, good. But, we sometimes delay ourselves, because of not following God’s directions. Nevertheless, he always makes away out for us, when it seems to be no way. As you are determined to succeed, check in with God and make sure, he has approve your plan(s). Save yourself the hassle, and trust in the Lord. Be blessed and stay motivated, in the Lord.

What is self-care? When we think of self-care, we usually think of a vacation, going to the spa, shopping, or spending time alone. This can be true, but how do you care for yourself when you constantly put everything and everyone in front of you? Whether it is your spouse, family, children, friends, work, etc. Some people consider self-care selfish, but no one will care for you if you don’t care for yourself. There was a time when I cared for everyone, expecting myself. Don’t get me wrong, I still care for others, but I ensure self-care first. Create in me a clean heart Lord Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God (Psalm 90:1-2). There is no body like Jesus. My friends every day we must make it our business to connected to God. We have to make sure that our heart is clean and righteous before Him. The days are becoming shorter and shorter and at any moment God can come. The question we must answered, is our priority in order? I don’t know about you but I want to make sure my heart is clean every day before the Lord. I want the Lord to create a clean heart and renew His spirit within me. Relax, Jesus is with you! Despite how things are currently looking, don’t through in the towel, just hold on. Help is on its way. God is an amazing God who never ceases to stop helping and guiding us, once we keep our part to trust and acknowledge him. Sometimes as I sit and look at situation in my life and around me, I cannot stop thanking the Lord because I know he is my defender.  Beauty Patience is truly divine, when you are waiting on the Lord. The beauty about patience, is when your complete trust is in the Lord, alone you know that he will always rescue you, despite, what your natural eyes is seeing. Sometimes, while waiting the time seems like it’s not moving and other times it is moving too fast. Nevertheless, God is always on time. Be BOLD in Christ, Jesus! “And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word” (Acts 4:29). God is amazing and his love for us endures forever.     In life, you will experience many disappointments. But the one person you cannot afford to disappoint is yourself. When everyone has let you down, you must learn to encourage yourself.
