Harvest Time
In order to reap a harvest you must be willing to
plant. But it is difficult to plan when you are not committed. What is commitment?
It’s when you are willing to do whatever, it takes to succeed. Meaning,
everything that is good and respectable in the land following the law, not stealing
from others and saying it is yours.
Let’s us suppose you want to receive a good paying
job. You will go to school and learn in order to obtain your degree, which will
mostly likely bless you with a good paying job. As you study, to show yourself
approval, you are planting seed. The harvest comes after you receive your
degree and find the jobs you desire. If
you want to see changes, in your loved ones, you will pray, fast and speaking
blessings over their lives. That will be your seed for them and eventually when
the change comes; your family and you will reap the fruits and it benefits.
Everyone wants a harvest, but not everyone is will
to make a sacrifice to receive. A sacrifice
can be simple. It could mean shutting your mouth when you mouth is saying
speak. Or when you physical man saying not to pray and your inner man is saying
pray now. The list can be endless. In fact we cannot reap anything unless, we
are planting in the Lord. We have all heard, you reap what you sow and it is
true. If you plant sour fruits you will reap it. What seed are you planting and
what ground are planting on?
The word of God says “I
am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in me that
does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit
he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 Already you are clean because of the word
that I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in
me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides
in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I am the vine; you
are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears
much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing."(John 15:1-5). Amen
Nevertheless, when
your time comes to receive your harvest, after you have been faithful attending
to your seeds, no one can stop it. Plant
in the Lord and receive and a blessed harvest. Recognize that in order to succeed you need
him and once he is in you, you will overcome and prosper. Be blessed and receive
a blessed harvest.
