My Friend

 Jesus
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11).

There no greater friend, like the one we have in Jesus. Everyone day as I met and talk with people, I try my best to express that Jesus is our friend. I say talk to him like you are talking to a friend standing in front of you. Most time when you have a true relationship with Christ, you find that he has a great sense of humor. He tells you something in the stillness, of your quiet time and all you can do is laugh.

I love the Lord and I love to talk about him. I don’t think there is a day, minute or second, where I don’t acknowledge him. Not because I want to be special, but because I understand that I need him, every minute and second. When I met people and they say I am struggling with this or that or I have this problem, I always say you need to pray and give it to Jesus. I don’t try to make it seem that God is only for me or a selective group. But I am sure to say if you seek him sincerely and diligently, he will always take care of you.

God doesn’t want a perfect man or woman. None of us is perfect, including me. There are times when I make mistake, but I thank God for his grace. I thank him because he brings correct to me. For I know he only correct those he loves. Does it hurt sometimes? Yes, but I know if for my benefits. My friend let Jesus be your friend. Don’t stop trusting in him. Don’t give up on him or think he doesn’t like you because you have missed up. No that’s a process we must go through and he likes when we come to him and ask forgiveness. God loves when we communicate with him because it shows that we are not depending on ourselves but him.


What are you struggling with today? Know that Jesus is your friend. Trust that he wants to help you and love you. There is no better person who can love you and help you like Jesus. People may come and go but Jesus stays FOREVER! Take all the limits off of him and all the doubts of yourself and dare to trust and believe in him. Know that he will always love you. Seek his presence today and be blessed.

What is self-care? When we think of self-care, we usually think of a vacation, going to the spa, shopping, or spending time alone. This can be true, but how do you care for yourself when you constantly put everything and everyone in front of you? Whether it is your spouse, family, children, friends, work, etc. Some people consider self-care selfish, but no one will care for you if you don’t care for yourself. There was a time when I cared for everyone, expecting myself. Don’t get me wrong, I still care for others, but I ensure self-care first. Create in me a clean heart Lord Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God (Psalm 90:1-2). There is no body like Jesus. My friends every day we must make it our business to connected to God. We have to make sure that our heart is clean and righteous before Him. The days are becoming shorter and shorter and at any moment God can come. The question we must answered, is our priority in order? I don’t know about you but I want to make sure my heart is clean every day before the Lord. I want the Lord to create a clean heart and renew His spirit within me. Relax, Jesus is with you! Despite how things are currently looking, don’t through in the towel, just hold on. Help is on its way. God is an amazing God who never ceases to stop helping and guiding us, once we keep our part to trust and acknowledge him. Sometimes as I sit and look at situation in my life and around me, I cannot stop thanking the Lord because I know he is my defender. For I acknowledge that none of the battles I face is mines, but the Lord.  Beauty Patience is truly divine, when you are waiting on the Lord. The beauty about patience, is when your complete trust is in the Lord, alone you know that he will always rescue you, despite, what your natural eyes is seeing. Sometimes, while waiting the time seems like it’s not moving and other times it is moving too fast. Nevertheless, God is always on time. Today, I give God praise because he did not give to me, my blessings when I thought I need it. Rather it was on his time. What does disappointment look like? Be BOLD in Christ, Jesus! “And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word” (Acts 4:29). God is amazing and his love for us endures forever. There are times when situation arise in our life and we must confront it immediately. Don’t wait to assess it rather nip in the roots ASAP before it grows and become a tree. How many of you could recall that when you were in the world you were bold. The minute anyone looks at you the wrong way, you were ready to cut them up with either a look or words.
