Mighty

 Powerful

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? “Psalm 27:1
There is nothing like the presence of the Lord. He is amazing, wonderful and sincere. We must acknowledge and adore his presence daily. We must learn to seek his face and worship him in spirit and in truth. Yesterday, I was listening to Christian radio station, as the pastor preaches; she said something very powerful that when I thought about it, it was deep! She said, “yes blood is thicker than water but the Spirit is thicker than blood”. And that holds true, when you are trusting in the Lord.  You no longer look to physical man but the Spiritual man who is Christ, Jesus and he is above everything.

No wonder the word of God said we must worship Him in spirit and in truth. In order to seek our blessing we must obey what the Spirit (Jesus) is saying and not man. We must learn to surrender all to Jesus. We must trust in Him. We must believe in Him. We must acknowledge Him, in everything and He will direct our paths. Therefore, our God is Mighty. He is supreme! There is no like Him and none who can ever be! You must know who you serve, so when the storm of life hits, you can withstand the pressure.

I don’t know where you are in your walk, but be encouraged to keep trusting in the Lord. Don’t lose hope and don’t give in. Remember God does not want a perfect man or woman. He wants and loves you just the way you are, for he is the Potter and we are the clay. He will mold you into what He knows you outta be. Don’t look at your faults and mistakes because God looks beyond it and sees your needs. Are you willing to trust him this morning? Do you see Him as an awesome and mighty God? When you think about Jesus and what he has done for you, who can be against you? My friends Jesus is all you got, therefore seek his presence and He will direct your path. Don’t be ashamed of Him and he wouldn’t be ashamed of you. Seek Him today and be blessed.

What is self-care? When we think of self-care, we usually think of a vacation, going to the spa, shopping, or spending time alone. This can be true, but how do you care for yourself when you constantly put everything and everyone in front of you? Whether it is your spouse, family, children, friends, work, etc. Some people consider self-care selfish, but no one will care for you if you don’t care for yourself. There was a time when I cared for everyone, expecting myself. Don’t get me wrong, I still care for others, but I ensure self-care first. When I was people-pleasing, I set no boundaries; I wanted to please everyone except myself. Whether someone asked me to do something, I did it. Whether I was exhausted, I got the task done. Create in me a clean heart Lord Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God (Psalm 90:1-2). There is no body like Jesus. My friends every day we must make it our business to connected to God. We have to make sure that our heart is clean and righteous before Him. The days are becoming shorter and shorter and at any moment God can come. The question we must answered, is our priority in order? I don’t know about you but I want to make sure my heart is clean every day before the Lord. I want the Lord to create a clean heart and renew His spirit within me. Relax, Jesus is with you! Despite how things are currently looking, don’t through in the towel, just hold on. Help is on its way. God is an amazing God who never ceases to stop helping and guiding us, once we keep our part to trust and acknowledge him. Sometimes as I sit and look at situation in my life and around me, I cannot stop thanking the Lord because I know he is my defender. For I acknowledge that none of the battles I face is mines, but the Lord.  Beauty Patience is truly divine, when you are waiting on the Lord. The beauty about patience, is when your complete trust is in the Lord, alone you know that he will always rescue you, despite, what your natural eyes is seeing. Sometimes, while waiting the time seems like it’s not moving and other times it is moving too fast. Nevertheless, God is always on time. Today, I give God praise because he did not give to me, my blessings when I thought I need it. Rather it was on his time.
