Steadfast

 Pray
“Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” 43 An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. 44 And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.[c]" (Luke 22:42-44). I could only image what was going through Jesus mind when he asks his Father to take this suffering away from him. He knew he had his Father work to complete, but I believe the suffering made him fed-up. There are times when you are going through a struggle and believe me, it seems worse than death. Because if you die, you will make to heaven, that’s if you are a believer. But when you have to suffer whether it is in your health, family or finances, it’s the worst struggle. Nevertheless, we must remember that God does not give us anything we cannot handle.

As I go through some struggles in my life, I tell you, I get fed-up. I cry, I pray, I sign, and I talk with the Lord. I do whatever I have to do to get His attention!  Does anyone hear me? Recently, I find myself fighting to walk in my freedom, but it just seems the more I push, the more problems, and heartache. But guess what? I will keep PUSHING in Jesus name. AMEN. We all have to go through, just like Jesus had to die, so we may have salvation. However, when you know you have to do something because you will reap the benefit, it’s ok. But what gets to me is the suffering part, it's like a thorns in your skin. But, you must know and know and know that God is always with you. But there are times, my God, my God, that pain is the worst. It makes you aggravate, frustrate, tired and the list goes on. My God said be still and know that I am God and I am with you.


It doesn’t matter what you are facing today, keep holding on and keep trusting in the Lord. I thank God because when you have a relationship Him, He will always lead you to His words which encourage us. As He said even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, fear no evil. You must believe it, and know he will walk you into greener pastures. To see greenery you have to walk through the bushy jungle. However, you will get to gaze in greener pastures. Be blessed and keep the faith.

What is self-care? When we think of self-care, we usually think of a vacation, going to the spa, shopping, or spending time alone. This can be true, but how do you care for yourself when you constantly put everything and everyone in front of you? Whether it is your spouse, family, children, friends, work, etc. Some people consider self-care selfish, but no one will care for you if you don’t care for yourself. There was a time when I cared for everyone, expecting myself. Don’t get me wrong, I still care for others, but I ensure self-care first. When I was people-pleasing, I set no boundaries; I wanted to please everyone except myself. Whether someone asked me to do something, I did it. Whether I was exhausted, I got the task done. Create in me a clean heart Lord Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God (Psalm 90:1-2). There is no body like Jesus. My friends every day we must make it our business to connected to God. We have to make sure that our heart is clean and righteous before Him. The days are becoming shorter and shorter and at any moment God can come. The question we must answered, is our priority in order? I don’t know about you but I want to make sure my heart is clean every day before the Lord. I want the Lord to create a clean heart and renew His spirit within me. Relax, Jesus is with you! Despite how things are currently looking, don’t through in the towel, just hold on. Help is on its way. God is an amazing God who never ceases to stop helping and guiding us, once we keep our part to trust and acknowledge him. Sometimes as I sit and look at situation in my life and around me, I cannot stop thanking the Lord because I know he is my defender. For I acknowledge that none of the battles I face is mines, but the Lord.  Beauty Patience is truly divine, when you are waiting on the Lord. The beauty about patience, is when your complete trust is in the Lord, alone you know that he will always rescue you, despite, what your natural eyes is seeing. Sometimes, while waiting the time seems like it’s not moving and other times it is moving too fast. Nevertheless, God is always on time. Today, I give God praise because he did not give to me, my blessings when I thought I need it. Rather it was on his time.
