“Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits” (Psalm 103:1-2)

It’s amazing when you are trusting in the Lord and you are expecting a miracle. Most of the time, the Lord does not always bless us the way we expect or the way we plan. He will bless us, no doubt about it, but how He does it, can sometimes be strange. The God we serve show no favoritism. What He does for one, He will do for another. But we must first trust and obey Him. We must first believe in him through faith and we will see His blessings manifest in our lives.

Couples week ago, I was praying because I wanted favor in a particular situation I was facing. I was stuck on jury duty for almost a month. Little, that I knew the person who was there to bless me and direct me where to go was on the case. Of, course I would have never though it because of the many times, I try to get off the case. I was amazed that the very thing I wanted not to be part of, was the thing God used to bless me. This is why, I can say God will bless us but it’s not the way we expected. To God be the glory! I was blessed and in return I was able to bless another person. To God be the glory!


Today, you might be facing a situation. I want to encourage you not to look to your left or to your right but keep your eyes on Jesus. Your blessing might be right next to you and you don’t even see it because you don’t think that’s it. Be encouraged and open your eyes to see through faith and know if God is with you, nothing forming against you shall prosper. Know that God always used something different each time to bless us. The question is, are you looking through the eyes of faith for your blessings?  Be blessed.

What is self-care? When we think of self-care, we usually think of a vacation, going to the spa, shopping, or spending time alone. This can be true, but how do you care for yourself when you constantly put everything and everyone in front of you? Whether it is your spouse, family, children, friends, work, etc. Some people consider self-care selfish, but no one will care for you if you don’t care for yourself. Create in me a clean heart Lord Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God (Psalm 90:1-2). There is no body like Jesus. My friends every day we must make it our business to connected to God. We have to make sure that our heart is clean and righteous before Him. The days are becoming shorter and shorter and at any moment God can come. The question we must answered, is our priority in order? I don’t know about you but I want to make sure my heart is clean every day before the Lord. I want the Lord to create a clean heart and renew His spirit within me. Relax, Jesus is with you! Despite how things are currently looking, don’t through in the towel, just hold on. Help is on its way. God is an amazing God who never ceases to stop helping and guiding us, once we keep our part to trust and acknowledge him. Sometimes as I sit and look at situation in my life and around me, I cannot stop thanking the Lord because I know he is my defender. For I acknowledge that none of the battles I face is mines, but the Lord.  Beauty Patience is truly divine, when you are waiting on the Lord. The beauty about patience, is when your complete trust is in the Lord, alone you know that he will always rescue you, despite, what your natural eyes is seeing. Sometimes, while waiting the time seems like it’s not moving and other times it is moving too fast. Nevertheless, God is always on time. Today, I give God praise because he did not give to me, my blessings when I thought I need it. Rather it was on his time. What does disappointment look like? Be BOLD in Christ, Jesus! “And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word” (Acts 4:29). God is amazing and his love for us endures forever. There are times when situation arise in our life and we must confront it immediately. Don’t wait to assess it rather nip in the roots ASAP before it grows and become a tree. How many of you could recall that when you were in the world you were bold. The minute anyone looks at you the wrong way, you were ready to cut them up with either a look or words. Yes, I raised my hands. Some of you might still be that way, but when the enemy sends trouble your way, your mouth is closed.
