Allow the Lord, to restore and make you hold
The Lord is awesome and he has a great way of using everyday skills, to bring us, closer to him. Over the weekend, I was cleaning fish. Let me state, that I don’t eat fish, much less know how to clean it. I am used to buying filet fish. However, I decide that I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me (lol). So as I clean the fish, I had an OMG moment.
As I hold the fish by its tail and scrape it, the scales began to fall off. Then I began to talk with God and said the fish is like us. When we first come to God, we are filled with layers of scales on our skin. What are our scales? Scales can be the hurt, from past and current relationship. Holding on to anger, hate, non-forgiving of a person who wronged us, the disappointments of life, being broke, bust and disgust etc. are all scales in our life.
Nevertheless, because Jesus has caught us in his net, he begins to clean us up.  For this very reason, we must give our lives to him. The more time we spend reading, mediating and be obedient to his words the scales, of  our old life falls off and we begin to see the freshness and beauty, Christ sees in us. The word for today is simple, it doesn’t matter how you look right now, just keeping trusting in the Lord. Allow him to come in and clean you up. He came so that we may have life and life more abundantly.
The Bible tells us that “the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."(Luke 19:10). Most of us were lost at one point, but God wants to take the scales off us, so we can shine.  Like the fish, when it is cleaned, seasoned, and fried, you can enjoy it. Similarly with us, when God is finished with us, many would see the changes, recognize us and acknowledge there is a God, who lives. If you haven’t already invited Christ Jesus in your life, I would encourage you to allow him in, so he can clean you up, restore and make you hold. Be blessed.

This can be true, but how do you care for yourself when you constantly put everything and everyone in front of you? Create in me a clean heart Lord Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God (Psalm 90:1-2). There is no body like Jesus. My friends every day we must make it our business to connected to God. We have to make sure that our heart is clean and righteous before Him. The days are becoming shorter and shorter and at any moment God can come. The question we must answered, is our priority in order? I don’t know about you but I want to make sure my heart is clean every day before the Lord. I want the Lord to create a clean heart and renew His spirit within me. Relax, Jesus is with you! Despite how things are currently looking, don’t through in the towel, just hold on. Help is on its way. God is an amazing God who never ceases to stop helping and guiding us, once we keep our part to trust and acknowledge him. Sometimes as I sit and look at situation in my life and around me, I cannot stop thanking the Lord because I know he is my defender. For I acknowledge that none of the battles I face is mines, but the Lord.  Beauty Patience is truly divine, when you are waiting on the Lord. The beauty about patience, is when your complete trust is in the Lord, alone you know that he will always rescue you, despite, what your natural eyes is seeing. Sometimes, while waiting the time seems like it’s not moving and other times it is moving too fast. Nevertheless, God is always on time. Today, I give God praise because he did not give to me, my blessings when I thought I need it. Rather it was on his time.     In life, you will experience many disappointments. But the one person you cannot afford to disappoint is yourself. When everyone has let you down, you must learn to encourage yourself. Be BOLD in Christ, Jesus! “And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word” (Acts 4:29). God is amazing and his love for us endures forever. There are times when situation arise in our life and we must confront it immediately. Don’t wait to assess it rather nip in the roots ASAP before it grows and become a tree. How many of you could recall that when you were in the world you were bold. The minute anyone looks at you the wrong way, you were ready to cut them up with either a look or words. Yes, I raised my hands. Some of you might still be that way, but when the enemy sends trouble your way, your mouth is closed.
