Double Honor
Dare to believe in the word of God...
This is still the year of double honor and yes, God still wants to bless you.  When you are trusting in the Lord, you don’t just give up or give in because you think time is running no. No my friends, that’s when you have to push your faith and yourself to hold on to the promises of God. He did say though our blessing may tarry it will come to past. But in order for it to come to past, you must believe. You must trust that God will do what he promises.

For this month my writing is on trust, believing and not to give up. But to hold on to your dreams and trust in the Lord despite what you are seeing and how you are feeling. Yes, it can be hard to trust and believe, especially, if there are things you want and you haven’t seen it as yet. Nevertheless, when you trust in the Lord, you cannot lose focus on what is happening, what if and what going wrong. You have to treat each moment as an opportunity to grow in faith and to see what God sees. You have to see your victory in every little situation. You have to recognize the smallest of blessings in every trial.

When God works in our life, he doesn't come the way we expect or think. The way we perceive and think is not the way he works. But with a certainty, he works through our faith. He works, when we believe and don’t doubt. He rescues those who diligently seek him.  The Lord has promised something to me, and I will trust in him until the end of the year and if I don’t see it, I will trust him in the New Year. Even now, I am hoping for miracle. I tell myself that I would treat each moment and each day as an opportunity to see the hands of God move in my life.  What about you? Whose report do you believe? Whose words do you trust in?

My friends, nothing in life comes easy, but when you are trusting in the Lord, you are sure that everything will be alright. All is going to be well and all is well in Jesus name. Amen. Sometimes, all you can do is encourage yourself with the word of God. You have to empower yourself and inner spirit with God promises. When you are in the fire, no man can help you. But you must believe that God is with you. You must trust that he will never leave you or forsake you. In Proverbs 3:5-6 it says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct[a] your paths”. Amen. Sometimes, that’s all you can do, is to trust the Lord and don’t worry or question what he is doing. But accept in your heart that he is working everything out and on His time, you will receive that which you are hoping for. Be blessed.

What is self-care? When we think of self-care, we usually think of a vacation, going to the spa, shopping, or spending time alone. This can be true, but how do you care for yourself when you constantly put everything and everyone in front of you? Whether it is your spouse, family, children, friends, work, etc. Some people consider self-care selfish, but no one will care for you if you don’t care for yourself. There was a time when I cared for everyone, expecting myself. Don’t get me wrong, I still care for others, but I ensure self-care first. Create in me a clean heart Lord Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God (Psalm 90:1-2). There is no body like Jesus. My friends every day we must make it our business to connected to God. We have to make sure that our heart is clean and righteous before Him. The days are becoming shorter and shorter and at any moment God can come. The question we must answered, is our priority in order? I don’t know about you but I want to make sure my heart is clean every day before the Lord. I want the Lord to create a clean heart and renew His spirit within me. Relax, Jesus is with you! Despite how things are currently looking, don’t through in the towel, just hold on. Help is on its way. God is an amazing God who never ceases to stop helping and guiding us, once we keep our part to trust and acknowledge him. Sometimes as I sit and look at situation in my life and around me, I cannot stop thanking the Lord because I know he is my defender. For I acknowledge that none of the battles I face is mines, but the Lord. Don’t get frustrated and don’t come out from under the covering of God, because know once he is for you, who can be against you. Today we live in a world where people are jealous of others.  Beauty Patience is truly divine, when you are waiting on the Lord. The beauty about patience, is when your complete trust is in the Lord, alone you know that he will always rescue you, despite, what your natural eyes is seeing. Sometimes, while waiting the time seems like it’s not moving and other times it is moving too fast. Nevertheless, God is always on time. Today, I give God praise because he did not give to me, my blessings when I thought I need it. Rather it was on his time.     In life, you will experience many disappointments. But the one person you cannot afford to disappoint is yourself. When everyone has let you down, you must learn to encourage yourself. What does disappointment look like? Be BOLD in Christ, Jesus! “And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word” (Acts 4:29). God is amazing and his love for us endures forever. There are times when situation arise in our life and we must confront it immediately. Don’t wait to assess it rather nip in the roots ASAP before it grows and become a tree. How many of you could recall that when you were in the world you were bold. The minute anyone looks at you the wrong way, you were ready to cut them up with either a look or words. Yes, I raised my hands. Some of you might still be that way, but when the enemy sends trouble your way, your mouth is closed. You begin to cry and in some cases you tell others your problems, well known that they can’t help you. Well guess what, the same boldness you have or would have had, use it to against the enemy.
