One Day

One day at a times, sweet Jesus, is what you need...
There is a great song that “goes one day at a time sweet Jesus it all I am asking of thee, to give me the strength to do everything that I have to do. Yesterday is gone, sweet Jesus and tomorrow may never be mines, Lord for my sake teach me to wait one day at a time”. And yes my friends there are times we have to take our daily walk with Christ Jesus one day at a time. We must follow him step by step trusting that he will make provision for you. It’s not always easy to trust in Jesus but it’s possible when you have faith.

Sometimes when I think about all I have to do in one day, I can get overwhelm. But as I begin to worship, somehow the Lord always help me to make it through the day. This morning as I meditate the song of one day at a time begin to play in my spirit. So I decide when anything comes to frustrate, I will sing it to make it through this day.  When our hope is in the Lord, we cannot afford to be distracted our allow times of our problems to frustrate us.

Rather we must stay focus and keep our eyes on Jesus. We must stay connect to him because we are the branches and he is the vine that keep us strong. Today I want to encourage you, not to let go of your faith but, to trust in Jesus. To take it one day at a time and allow God to make the changes you need. Most time, nothing grows over night, but when you are in faith anything is possible, for those who believe in Jesus.

In You, O Lord, I put my trust; Let me never be put to shame. 2 Deliver me in Your righteousness, and cause me to escape; Incline Your ear to me, and save me. 3 Be my strong refuge, To which I may resort continually; You have given the commandment to save me, For You are my rock and my fortress(Psalm 71:1-3).

Many times, all you can do, is to encourage yourself with the word of God and know God is able to see you through. Take daily step with Jesus and you will see the changes you desire. One day at a times, sweet Jesus it what will see you through. Be blessed.

What is self-care? When we think of self-care, we usually think of a vacation, going to the spa, shopping, or spending time alone. This can be true, but how do you care for yourself when you constantly put everything and everyone in front of you? Whether it is your spouse, family, children, friends, work, etc. Some people consider self-care selfish, but no one will care for you if you don’t care for yourself. There was a time when I cared for everyone, expecting myself. Don’t get me wrong, I still care for others, but I ensure self-care first. Create in me a clean heart Lord Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God (Psalm 90:1-2). There is no body like Jesus. My friends every day we must make it our business to connected to God. We have to make sure that our heart is clean and righteous before Him. The days are becoming shorter and shorter and at any moment God can come. The question we must answered, is our priority in order? I don’t know about you but I want to make sure my heart is clean every day before the Lord. I want the Lord to create a clean heart and renew His spirit within me. Relax, Jesus is with you! Despite how things are currently looking, don’t through in the towel, just hold on. Help is on its way. God is an amazing God who never ceases to stop helping and guiding us, once we keep our part to trust and acknowledge him. Sometimes as I sit and look at situation in my life and around me, I cannot stop thanking the Lord because I know he is my defender.  Beauty Patience is truly divine, when you are waiting on the Lord. The beauty about patience, is when your complete trust is in the Lord, alone you know that he will always rescue you, despite, what your natural eyes is seeing. Sometimes, while waiting the time seems like it’s not moving and other times it is moving too fast. Nevertheless, God is always on time. Today, I give God praise because he did not give to me, my blessings when I thought I need it. Rather it was on his time. Be BOLD in Christ, Jesus! “And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word” (Acts 4:29). God is amazing and his love for us endures forever. There are times when situation arise in our life and we must confront it immediately. Don’t wait to assess it rather nip in the roots ASAP before it grows and become a tree. How many of you could recall that when you were in the world you were bold. The minute anyone looks at you the wrong way, you were ready to cut them up with either a look or words.
