Ragging Wind

 Trust
God is Faithful
The Lord we serve is a God who is organize, and he is not of confusion. How many of you are currently in some type of problems? Whether it is on your job, school or home, it seems to be some type of conflict. But you must realize these disputes are not of God, for the Lord we serve is a God of order and flow. When Jesus is in your life things will begin to flows, the way he sees fit. It’s like when you look at a river, you see the water flowing down stream. And it is so, with Christ Jesus, things always flow nicely. However, there are times when the water is raging. The water represents your situation or problems. It is making noises, too loud for you to handle. Now you find yourself asking, what I am going to do. You ask the Lord, how long should I wait?  Yet it seems, like the Lord is not listening and you are going under.

After you take matters in your own hands, you realize he had heard your cry. You will find that you had moved to quickly, instead, of trusting in him until the end. Soon you find out the ragging water was temporary and not permanent.  Let’s look at Peter; he had begged the Lord, to allow him to walk on water.  The Lord did answer his request and he began to do the impossible, he was walking on water. Then, I believe doubt ran across his mind, as he heard the wind raging on the water and he no longer trusted in the Lord. He was trying to figure out how he can avoid the ragging wind, own his strength.

He soon found himself, sinking and cried out saying, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. 33 Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.(Mathew 14:30-32)” Amen. Isn’t it wonderful that when we cry out to God, he always answers and save us? But when we fail to trust in him, our situations, gets out of control .We spend more time focusing on the raging and nagging wind, which causes us to lose sleep, hope and our faith to believe, we already have the victory.

All those wasted energy and time worrying about what we cannot change should be spent, in prayers, fasting, and planting a seed, trusting and believing that everything will come to pass. We need to believe that God will deliver us, and no storms, or situations will take us out. For if we know he is for us, who can be against us. Whatever, trials you are facing know, that God has already won the battle. Don’t be too quick to move on your own strength, but trust that he has your best interest. As you are waiting, encourage yourself with his words, which states you are more than a conqueror and overcome. Be blessed and continue to be belief that God has calmed every storm and your life is in order.
