Forgiveness

Peace

Un-forgiveness is a dangerous thing in the kingdom of God. The word of God teaches us that we must learn to forgive those who has trespass  against us and likewise we must also ask forgiveness of those we trespass against. When we hold on to old things, old hurts, old disappointments and loss hopes and dreams we set ourselves up for failure. We leave no room to see the good and amazing things God has in store or even  what God is doing in our life presently.

In fact the  word of God says :
1) “I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more. 26 Review the past for me, let us argue the matter together; state the case for your innocence. Isaiah 43:25-26”.

2) “For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. Matthew 6:14-15”,

3) "This, then, is how you should pray: " 'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us today our daily bread. 12 Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. 14 For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. Matthew 6:9-15”

So my friends it is important that in our walk with Christ Jesus we learn to forgive each others as well as forgive ourself for the wrong we have done to others and learn to accept that God has forgiven us. Don’t hold on to old things. Don’t hold malice, grudge, un-forgiveness and other negative thoughts and feelings in your heart. It only leads to distraction. The word for today is forgiveness. Be blessed and remember if God can forgive, so can we.
