Look up

Forward
All good things comes from God.
In order to succeed in life, you have to keep moving forward. There is no time to look back at your past. You have to leave the past in the past and look towards your future. Knowing that Jesus holds the keys to your future and it is brighter and better than before. None of us can change our past, but we have to power to pray and ask God to change our future.

We can disagree with the way things are currently going in our lives and ask God to change it. That’s why it is important for you to have a relationship with him for yourself. Even if you try to move forward on your own, it will be difficult because there are people and things, the enemy places in your path to pull you down.  Nevertheless, when God is in the midst, no weapons forming against you will prosper. You will no longer pay attention to who is against you, but rather who is for you and that’s Christ Jesus.

Yesterday, I learn how generational curses truly work in your life and how it can affect your children. But, when you know who you are and whom you serve you can pray to break those chains of bondages over the lives of your loved ones and yourself. As I walk home yesterday, I saw a little child with some medals around her neck. Some were for first place, second and third. She was happy. So I ask what the medals are for. She said, we had field day and I won them. I said amen, you did well and to keep up the good work. She smile and we cross the street.

Less than a minute an older gentleman and his friend saw her. They ask her how she got the medals. She said she won them by running. He went on joking about it, asking if she won them because she can actually run or did she run like someone was going to beat her. She never answered and kept walking. Then he further said, because they family you come from, we all know them and they are no good, so you have to run away from them.  Now just that moment! I tell you my blood was boiling, I said to myself devil you are a liar. And I bind up all those negative words spoken over the child and return back to the sender. I spoke the blessings of the Lord over her. In Jesus name, Amen

Now I thought to myself, here is a child walk down the street proud about her medals and feeling good about herself, and here comes the devil with his negative words to remind her of her home and family. At that’s point I said Lord, no wonder we need to keep praying for our family, friends and ourselves to keep breaking generational curses over our lives. Because you see my friends, when you want to move forward, here comes the devil, with his lies to bring you back down. But he is a looser, from the pits of hell! And whom the sun has set free is always free indeed.

I don’t know what your past has been speaking to you. But let me tell you, when you give it to Jesus, he will take it away. He will renew and make you into a brand new man. For he doesn’t look at your past, to bless you rather he looks at your heart. For he said, “rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity” (Joel 2:13). Amen.

Beloved, God don’t care about how you look, what you wear, what you have done in past or even yesterday. He just wants your heart.  If you look at many of the people in the Bible, you will notice none of them was perfect. For instance, Paul was killer, David committed adultery, Rehab was a prostitute and the list goes on.  Nonetheless, God still blessed them and their names are mention in the Bible. In fact, David was considered a man after God’s own heart. Why? Not because he was perfect, but he was a God fearing man and he always, go before God and his throne to repent and ask for forgiveness. Now you and I are no different.

As a matter of fact, we are better off than they are, because Christ Jesus lives inside of us. We no longer have to carry white dove and ask the priest to prayer for us. Rather we can go before God, himself and seek forgiveness, knowing once he forgives us, that’s it. All we need to do is invite him in, and embrace his presence. Amen and Hallelujah. What a mighty and awesome God we serve. I don’t know if you already have a relationship with him, or if you are in-between. It doesn’t matter! Just seek his face today and watch your life be transformed, for the better. Be encouraged and seek his  grace and mercies. Be blessed.
