Pray for someone
Yesterday, I wrote about the importance of praying and helping each other. And is so important that in these times we learn how to help and support each other. As I was speaking to some colleagues, we discuss how we notice many families are still trying to get their life back together after the Sandy storm. As we look around the world many people are hurting, they need guidance, they need help, they need our prayers, and that’s why we must learn to pray for all.  I myself notice for the first time in long time, when I go to the NY City, the amount of people holding sign asking for help.

It appears that every corner has one or two. Yes, these are the day we must be grateful for what we have and learn how to share what we have with others. As I said before, financial help is good, if you can afford it. But if all you can do is pray for each individual daily, then do it. You don’t need to know their names, but you can lift them up in your daily prayers. God knows their name. We must not be selfish in our prayers to only concern ourselves about those we only know. But we must prayer for all mankind.

“And we urge you, brethren, to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, 13 and to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. Be at peace among yourselves.14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all. 15 See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you”( 1 Thessalonians 5:12-18). Amen

Today let us continue to pray for those we know and don’t know. They need our prayers. They need to know someone cares. Even if they don’t know you and you don’t personally know them, pray for them. Let your prayers be about another person, so they may come to know the Lord Jesus as their savior.

Dear Lord, we give you all the glory and praises. Lord we lift up all the people in the world. We lift up every mother, brother, sister; spouse, children, neighbor, everyone to you Lord, and we ask that you blessed them in the areas they need to be blessed in. We ask that you rescue them out of any situation they are in. Lord, you know exactly what they need and we ask that today, begins a new day for them to see your glory shine in their lives. May your will be done in Jesus name. Amen. Pray for someone today. Be Blessed.
