Not Exempt
Go Through
Not because
you are a child of God or a Believer of Jesus Christ means that you are exempt
from facing trials. No my friend, for the very fact that you believe on and in
the word of God you will be tested. Not because God wants to punish you, but
because his name will be glorified and you will reap the benefits. Have you
ever notice when you are standing on the promises of God, how things something seems
to be haywire.
You find
there are problems in your health, your family, your spouse, your finances,
etc. You then find yourself questioning how God allows this. Not to mention the
negative word from the naysayers. However, when you are trusting in God, it
doesn’t matter what anyone or anything say. It only matter what he thinks, for
he is the only one who knows how your story will turn out. In addition, your
faith must be strong to trust in him because it also determines the outcomes.
What are
trials? It’s the things that want to frustrate you. It the negative reports
despite believing for positive one. It’s the creditors who are calling. It’s receiving
the pink slip on the job. It’s the spouse who is acting like the fool. It’s the
children who are unruly and disobedient, etc. But don’t look at what they are
doing or what your eyes are seeing. Look at what God sees. He see changes, he
see family coming together. He sees a better opportunity to increase your pay.
He sees recovery and total healing in your health. He sees
all good things. POINT BLANK!!!!!!
My friend,
no one is exempt from trials. Daniel was thrown into the lion’s den. Joseph was
in thrown into the pit and then sold into slavery. Job lost everything. The
three Hebrew boys were in the fire. But none of them were disappointed. Why?
Because, of their faith God delivered and blessed them all. Not because they
were good or bad but, because they believed and trust in God. They had they
faith to trust in him to the end despite what they were seeing or was told. And
that’s the faith we must have.
In fact, the
word of God say , “ Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to
try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; 13 but rejoice to the
extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is
revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. 14 If you are reproached for
the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests
upon you.[d] On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.
15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a
busybody in other people’s matters. 16 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian,
let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter” (1 Peter
4:12-16). Amen. So you see my friend, it’s written that we have to go
through many trials but don’t think it is strange, rather rejoice and know you
are coming out. It’s only a matter of time. Whatever is going on in your life, keep
trusting in the Lord. Don’t give in or give up. Rejoice and know all is well.
Be blessed.
