Spent time with Jesus
“And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13). Amen

We all have a busy schedule. Some of us work two jobs. Some work one and some are full-time parent, while some are single parent. It does matter what you do or how busy you are, the question is, are you making time to spend in the word of God? You have to make time in order to obtain guidance from the Holy Spirit. None of us is perfect and God does not expect us to be. However, if we want to see progress in our lives, we must make time.  We have to make time to read  the word, time to meditate, time to reflect, and time to receive guidance.

This awesome and wonderful God we serve does not require much. He is not high maintenance.  He wants us to acknowledge him in everything we do. We don’t need to make any appointment, but we can access him anything, and anywhere. If you don’t know what to say, you can sing a song, you can just say, “Lord I love you” or “Lord I thank you for this day.  You don’t need a long and perfect prayer, but a simple one  acknowledging who, he is.

My friends, if you don’t make time for Jesus how do you expect him to make time for him. You have to know who he is for yourself. You have to know when the storms hit you, what words of promises you are standing on. You have to know who and whom you belongs too, so you can withstand the weapons of the fiery trials.  I have a busy schedule. My day usually at 5:30 and some time at 5:00 a.m., then I have to pray and prepare to write before I get my family through the door and head to work.


No I don’t expect everyone or anyone to be like me, but when you learn to spend time in the word of God you will see changes in your life. You will experience God for yourself; you can and will testify of his grace and mercies in your life and those around you. Today, make time and spend speaking to Lord. Seek his presence and guidance in your life. Be encourage and spent some time with Jesus. Be blessed.

What is self-care? When we think of self-care, we usually think of a vacation, going to the spa, shopping, or spending time alone. This can be true, but how do you care for yourself when you constantly put everything and everyone in front of you? Whether it is your spouse, family, children, friends, work, etc. Some people consider self-care selfish, but no one will care for you if you don’t care for yourself. There was a time when I cared for everyone, expecting myself. Don’t get me wrong, I still care for others, but I ensure self-care first. Create in me a clean heart Lord Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God (Psalm 90:1-2). There is no body like Jesus. My friends every day we must make it our business to connected to God. We have to make sure that our heart is clean and righteous before Him. The days are becoming shorter and shorter and at any moment God can come. The question we must answered, is our priority in order? I don’t know about you but I want to make sure my heart is clean every day before the Lord. I want the Lord to create a clean heart and renew His spirit within me. Relax, Jesus is with you! Despite how things are currently looking, don’t through in the towel, just hold on. Help is on its way. God is an amazing God who never ceases to stop helping and guiding us, once we keep our part to trust and acknowledge him. Sometimes as I sit and look at situation in my life and around me, I cannot stop thanking the Lord because I know he is my defender. For I acknowledge that none of the battles I face is mines, but the Lord.  Beauty Patience is truly divine, when you are waiting on the Lord. The beauty about patience, is when your complete trust is in the Lord, alone you know that he will always rescue you, despite, what your natural eyes is seeing. Sometimes, while waiting the time seems like it’s not moving and other times it is moving too fast. Nevertheless, God is always on time. Today, I give God praise because he did not give to me, my blessings when I thought I need it. Rather it was on his time. Had I receive my blessings too earlier, I would have missed his true power being manifest in my life. I would be lost in the world without any hope for my future. Be BOLD in Christ, Jesus! “And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word” (Acts 4:29). God is amazing and his love for us endures forever. There are times when situation arise in our life and we must confront it immediately. Don’t wait to assess it rather nip in the roots ASAP before it grows and become a tree.
