 Rock Lately, I find my mind tends to go back to the past, but I told myself, my past is my past and my future is looking bright. I know it’s a trick from the enemy to make me feel like my life is getting nowhere. But the devil is and always will be a liar, in Jesus name.  My minds is made up that I am standing on Solid Rock, Jesus and I will not be moved. I know without any doubt that I cannot change my past, so I called my mind in Jesus name out of the past and into my future, in Jesus name. Amen. You don’t have to look back at your old life, when you already surrender to God. You don’t need to go back and look back at what you could have done better or change. Truth be told, you are right where you supposed to be. God knew that you would be here today.  Keep Trusting It’s amazing that we can go to God, daily and ask for strength. In order to live a fulfill life we need Christ, Jesus. For he knows, everything, he is the solution to all your problems, he is the redeemer, he is the provider, he is the healer, he is, the Great I AM. Today, you might be faced with some trials, but don’t forget who you serve. Know that you don’t serve a dead god, But a God who lives forevermore.  We no longer have to carry our burdens around. Rather all we have to do is surrender all to Jesus, for his burdens are light and his yoke is easy. The key is to keep pushing, until you see what the Lord has promised to you. Don’t lose hope or heart over your problems. Many times the enemy wants you to give up. He hopes that you will get frustrated and give up. But he is thief. And when you are a WINNER, you never quit! All you have to do is give your problems to God and he will work it out. Sometimes, it is hard to ...

 Speak Speak, LIFE!!! Most of us know that life and death lies within our tongue. Words have power and it can either heal or hurt a person. And many times in life some people consciously or unconsciously love to say what they want, when they want and how they want. With no regards of how it can affect a person.  Likewise vice-versa, if we are not careful of how we react to people when they speak to us, it can cause damage. But thank God for blood of Jesus. When your trust is in Christ Jesus, he teaches you self-control.  Many times people feel because you are a Christian, you are a fool. They fail to realize that you have wisdom, when you have self-control and that it is God, who is going to fight your battle. Today, you might find yourself upset and want to tell some people off. But Wait a minute! Waiting, waiting and breathing! Give it to God, for he will defend you. In fact the word of God said, “…, listen and understand. 11 What goes into someone’s mouth do...

 Power “And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word” (Acts 4:29). God is amazing and his love for us endures forever. There are times when situation arise in our life and we must confront it immediately. Don’t wait to assess it rather nip in the roots ASAP before it grows and become a tree. How many of you could recall that when you were in the world you were bold. The minute anyone looks at you the wrong way, you were ready to cut them up with either a look or words. Yes, I raised my hands. Some of you might still be that way, but when the enemy sends trouble your way, your mouth is closed. You begin to cry and in some cases you tell others your problems, well known that they can’t help you. Well guess what, the same boldness you have or would have had, use it to against the enemy.  Strength We all have fought many battles, and the Lord has brought us through safety. Then as you overcome one, here comes another. But only this time, it seems like an impossible conflict to get out off. But the devil is a liar.  We must remember that just as God, brought us through the others, he will bring us out, of this one too, in Jesus name. Amen. In fact, you have already won this battle. It’s just a stepping stone for you to get to the next level, to your victory. Each time the Lord gives you victory in your situation, it elevates you to higher ground.  When you are standing on the solid rock and you know the power you have NOTHING cannot stand in your way!  I will Put your, trust in the Lord!!! It is in the midst of your trials, you should worship. Sometimes, when you are feeling down and out, do not let it get to you. Instead, find a song and sing it to the Lord. There are times, when you have to pray, and uplift your spirit. When no one is around, recognize and be aware that God is always around. We must remember that the enemy never takes any rest, and we must be vigilant at all times. Nevertheless, there are times when our physical strength feels low, and that’s when we must put our trust and hope in the Lord, because he is our strength and refugee in times of trouble. Take heed, that all you want to accomplish, you CANNOT accomplish it, in your own strength. The enemy will wear you out! However, when God is your strength, and your hope is in him, NOTHING will take you out! Maybe you are facing some impossible situation, where you feel that you will not come out.  Faith Each and every one of us has faith. We all have things, we want to accomplish and many times we believe we will.  When we do accomplish our heart desire, it represents our faith.  Faith is your determination to succeed in life. The bigger your faith, the more determine you are. That’s why the Bible said , “faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrew 11:1).  Wow, that's deep. Think about it, for a moment. Can anyone see your faith? Of course not, you can tell them what you want to do and sometimes, they will encourage you and other times, they will put you down.  But when you are determine, I mean really determine, you can and will overcome any situation, road blocks or obstacles in your way. You would not let anything or anyone stop you. You will be like an express train that don’t stop. You will only stop at your destination.  Find “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” John 14:6. Every day as life situation hits us, we tend to put off the problems, until tomorrow. STOP! Face your problems and situations today, so you can have a better tomorrow.  People love to ask others, their opinion, which is fine depending on who you are asking.  But truth is they can only tell you what they think. At the end of the day the choice is up to you. PUSH and trust the Holy Spirit. You will find solutions to all your problems.  Recognize that no one can help you like Jesus! Period!!!! Faith Have faith in the Lord!!! Wouldn’t it be nice if you and I can walk on water? Yes, yes, yes, it would be nice for me because I would be able to accomplish something that is totally impossible.  As I drove to work, I was thinking about some of the people in the Bible who had some impossible situations turned into possibilities. I thought for a moment, about some impossible dilemmas, I am facing, and how it can and will be possible in Jesus name.  I thought of Peter, when he asked the Lord to allow him to walk on water ( see Mathew 14:22-33). I wonder how many people would actually have the courage to ask God to allow them to walk on water. And, if he said yes, would they be able do it! I thought maybe some people might come and be like Peter, who easily got distracted by what was going on around him. This caused him to start sinking.  God What are the storms? Storms can be your children given you problems. You have lost your job. You are unable to pay your bills. Your spouse has left, etc. the list could be endless. But know what every situation you are faced with today, that’s your storms. Remember to hold on, change is coming. For Jesus will catch you, before you fall, that’s if you trust him to catch you. When the storms and life issues start roaring at you, you can sometimes become worried and fearful. But the Lord teaches us not to be afraid but to put our trust in him. “Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart” (Psalm 37:1-4).   Good God loves you... “I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me” (Proverbs 8:17) God is awesome. Last year I wrote about how God corrects those he loves. And I must say God never ceases to changes. When he loves, he truly loves. Even when we make mistakes, God still come and look for us. He continues to bless and guide us despite our faults and mistakes.  Courage God is with You!!! What is courage? The Webster dictionary defines courage as “mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty” .  In the book of Joshua chapter 1 we see, that it was courage that lead Joshua to follow God’s instruction. It is told that after death of Moses, Joshua was found crying, and the Lord instructed him to be strong and courageous. God told him to get ready to cross His people over the Jordan River. How many times the Lord gives us instruction to complete a task and we feel afraid and sometimes “chicken out”. We wished we didn’t have to complete the task. And sometimes feels that someone else can and should, do it. But we must remember that the Lord does not give us a task unless, he thinks we can handle it. Like Joshua, we need to stop crying, get ready to cross and strengthen ourselves in the Lord. We need to make room to enter into the land flowing with milk and honey. Not just enter but enjoy...

Success Repeat I recently observed that the key to success is repetition. You may ask why? In order to master any skills you must be good at it.  For example, none of us are Bible Scholar. Well I speak for myself. Nevertheless, the more time I spend in the word, reading and meditating, the better I become of being aware of Gods’ promises for my life.  Many of us want to be successful individual, but you have to put in the work, in order to prove yourself, or even to stand out from the crowd. I was talking to a kid and he told me that he goes to Religion School and it is boring. He explained that you read these books and then answer the questions. (Now I know the God, I served is kind, sweet, awesome and a miracle worker). He had the book and he showed it to me. As I review the book I find myself being bored, because I was trying to understand Jesus through a text book. I have discovered that the Bible is not a text book or a novel you read just to read, but a book with in...

 God is able Everyone loves a clean slate of themselves. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if people can only see the good and not the bad in you? Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we are fatless and has no blemish? I think it would. But of course none of us is perfect. It doesn’t matter how much we try to be perfect someone will spot something we missed. Someone will see our faults. However when you are a child of God, he takes care of your faults.  In fact the word of God says, he looks beyond our faults and see our needs. Amen. Several weeks ago, I wrote a letter to the children and their family introducing myself as the new worker. I proof the letter several times. I had several colleagues looked at it. After distributing it to many of the kids, someone saw I had misspelled a word. I said I thought that I had corrected it. Little behold, others said they say it but didn’t say anything.  Light Jesus is a prayer away!!! Have you ever notice that when God is not guiding your life, how you wonder around and around in circles?  But we must thank God for his blood and mercies. We must thank him because he always looks beyond out faults and see our needs. He looks beyond our complaints and bless us. He looks beyond our limitations and makes things possible. Don’t be like the children of Israel who wonder for 40 years in the desert. Know times have changes and God remains the same. He now dwells in each of us. We can access him any minute, anytime and anywhere. We know longer have to walk millions of miles or take any white dove to him. Rather he lives in side you and me. The question is, are you seeking his presence, his protection, his guidance or his peace?  God does not look for a perfect man, but he comes to save those who are lost, broken, lonely, challenged, in need of a shepherd and guidance. Freedom Jesus loves us!!! Our freedom was brought with a price. That price was death. Yet we have life. We can choose between life and death. Know that your life is in God hands.  God loves us that he send, his only son Jesus to die on the cross. It is at the cross; you have been set free from bondages. At the cross, we now have life. At the cross our savior died for us. At the cross, sin has no power over us. At the cross, it is where life begins. Oh that sweet cross, that Jesus carried for us, all those 39 lashes for us. By his strips we are healed. My God, oh my God we love you so much. I don’t know about you but, I love the Lord so much because he died for me. He is the only God who rose on the third day and he forever lives. He is the Alpha and Omega. He is the great I am. The Lord has been so great and wonderful to us.  Love God loves your heart... The blessings and joy of the Lord makes one rich and adds no sorrows. There are times I sit and look at how far the Lord has brought me and I must say that had it not been for him, I don’t know where I would be.  Life always goes smother, when you know you have Jesus on your side. When you know the battle is never yours, but it belongs to the Lord. My friends don’t believe for one second that you can handle or do everything on your own strength. For it is impossible. You will find yourself burned out, weary, frustrated, and the list goes on. But when you allow Jesus, Christ to navigate your path and direct, you can do all things because he has strengthened you. In order to see progress in your life you must be aggressive and determine. The amount of things we have to complete each day can be difficult. But I realize when you begin each day a fresh and ask God for his help, things works and goes much smother. It where you have to speak to God and ask him for the strength for that day and give him thanks when the day is over. We must get into the habit of not worrying when the task we set aside was not complete in one day. We must realize that tomorrow is another day, and the day after that. We must trust God daily and know that every day he is with us guiding and directing our paths. None of us are superman or woman. It’s only so much we can do in our own strength.
