Help

 Jesus
There are times, we feel as though we have to carry our burdens. How many of you know of the song, that goes “cast your burdens unto Jesus because he cares for you”. Well it’s a power song and we must get use to in cooperating it in our daily walk with God. None of us can accomplish all we want without him. We cannot fix everything and everyone in our lives. But we can pray for improvements. It’s okay to talk to God about everything. Cast your burdens don’t necessary mean your current struggles, you have with others. But also struggles within your personal and spiritual growth with God. He wants to know you fears and frustration. He wants to know your likes and dislikes.

Don’t assume that he knows, because not until you ask for his assistance can he works. We sometimes get uses to, “well, God know my problem and he can help me”. Yes he knows, but how can he help, if you don’t ask for guidance. For instance, you can talk to someone that you need a job, but not until you ask them, if their job is hiring because you are looking can they assist you. Did you notice the different in the statement? You must ask and so it is with God, not until you ask, can you receive.  Don’t let you pride, stop you for asking God or anyone for help. It’s okay to receive and ask for help when you need it. But most important God should be your first source. As we sing cast our burdens unto Jesus, holds true and it is a daily prayer, we have access to you. Every day is a new day with the Lord, a new beginning and a new error to receive and ask for changes and guidance.

What burdens are you trying to fix on your own? Don’t waste time, but past it unto to Jesus for he cares for you. That’s why he is there for us, to reassures us that we are never alone.  “Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.3 For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe”(Psalm 61:1-3). Amen. So whatever you are facing, know that it is okay to call upon the Lord, for he is great and good to those who are hoping in him.  Don’t try to fix the problem on your own strength, but call upon Jesus, the Rock. Be blessed.
