Waiting

Wait on the Lord, He is faithful!
In order to receive you must be in the spirit of expectancy. You must believe that which you have asked the Lord for he will give to you. Yes something comes easy, while others you have to fight to recovery through prayers, fasting and planting seeds. Nevertheless, you will receive that which the Lord has promised to you. Don’t allow time of your waiting to wear you out. Instead, only believe through faith. The more you believe the closer you get to receive your blessings.

As a mother carries her baby for nine months, she is expecting a blessing at end. In the beginning she is happy. She watches what she eats but in the later months, she becomes restless. She is tired of waiting. She wants her blessing now. But not until the expected date can she see that which she was longer for. And so it is with you and me. When God promise us something we are happy. We are excited. We look for it day and night, but when we don’t see it we become tired, and restless. We question if God is for us or not. But I must say my friends not until the right moment God will deliver to us that which we desire.

 Don’t be discouraged. Don’t lose hope. But be ready. Be in the faith that today is my day. And if you don’t see what you are hoping for then believe for it tomorrow or until you receive it. As you wait on the Lord. Rejoice for he is good. Rejoice because he is faithful. Rejoice and know that God will make away. As the Psalmist David said, “And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord; It shall rejoice in His salvation” (Psalm 35:9). Therefore my friend, rejoice because God will give to you the victory you are expecting. Be blessed.

What is self-care? When we think of self-care, we usually think of a vacation, going to the spa, shopping, or spending time alone. This can be true, but how do you care for yourself when you constantly put everything and everyone in front of you? Whether it is your spouse, family, children, friends, work, etc. Some people consider self-care selfish, but no one will care for you if you don’t care for yourself. There was a time when I cared for everyone, expecting myself. Don’t get me wrong, I still care for others, but I ensure self-care first. Create in me a clean heart Lord Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God (Psalm 90:1-2). There is no body like Jesus. My friends every day we must make it our business to connected to God. We have to make sure that our heart is clean and righteous before Him. The days are becoming shorter and shorter and at any moment God can come. The question we must answered, is our priority in order? I don’t know about you but I want to make sure my heart is clean every day before the Lord. I want the Lord to create a clean heart and renew His spirit within me. Relax, Jesus is with you! Despite how things are currently looking, don’t through in the towel, just hold on. Help is on its way. God is an amazing God who never ceases to stop helping and guiding us, once we keep our part to trust and acknowledge him. Sometimes as I sit and look at situation in my life and around me, I cannot stop thanking the Lord because I know he is my defender. For I acknowledge that none of the battles I face is mines, but the Lord.  Beauty Patience is truly divine, when you are waiting on the Lord. The beauty about patience, is when your complete trust is in the Lord, alone you know that he will always rescue you, despite, what your natural eyes is seeing. Sometimes, while waiting the time seems like it’s not moving and other times it is moving too fast. Nevertheless, God is always on time. Today, I give God praise because he did not give to me, my blessings when I thought I need it. Rather it was on his time. Be BOLD in Christ, Jesus! “And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word” (Acts 4:29). God is amazing and his love for us endures forever. There are times when situation arise in our life and we must confront it immediately. Don’t wait to assess it rather nip in the roots ASAP before it grows and become a tree. How many of you could recall that when you were in the world you were bold. The minute anyone looks at you the wrong way, you were ready to cut them up with either a look or words.
