New Year and New Day

A new day to receive from the Lord!
As we are in a New Year, what are your plans? Coming into a new year does not mean that you must settle for less. But you should look for greatness. New Year means new season to grow, to prosper, and to be successful. Nevertheless, you cannot grow, without having a plan.

The bible tells us that you must plant, before you reap. What are you planning to plant this year? You cannot reap a harvest without first planting. Is it a new job, then work on your resume? Do you want to be debt free, then cut up the credit cards. Is it your weight then watch what you are eating, and join a gym. The list and plans for this New Year can be endless. Nevertheless, ask yourself what plan of action will you be taken towards a successful and blessed 2013.

Let your plans and vision be clear. "And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it." (Habakkuk 2:2). The Lord God is ready to bless you, but what can He bless if you don't have a vision. The challenge for you  today is to write your vision, dreams, and all your desires down. Make a plan, so you can work on it and God can navigate you, into your place of blessings.  Remember, it is a sin, not to have a vision because God Almighty has one for you. But you first, have to give Him something to work with. Be blessed and have a vision.

What is self-care? When we think of self-care, we usually think of a vacation, going to the spa, shopping, or spending time alone. This can be true, but how do you care for yourself when you constantly put everything and everyone in front of you? Whether it is your spouse, family, children, friends, work, etc. Some people consider self-care selfish, but no one will care for you if you don’t care for yourself. There was a time when I cared for everyone, expecting myself. Don’t get me wrong, I still care for others, but I ensure self-care first. When I was people-pleasing, I set no boundaries; I wanted to please everyone except myself. Whether someone asked me to do something, I did it. Whether I was exhausted, I got the task done. Create in me a clean heart Lord Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God (Psalm 90:1-2). There is no body like Jesus. My friends every day we must make it our business to connected to God. We have to make sure that our heart is clean and righteous before Him. The days are becoming shorter and shorter and at any moment God can come. The question we must answered, is our priority in order? I don’t know about you but I want to make sure my heart is clean every day before the Lord. I want the Lord to create a clean heart and renew His spirit within me. Relax, Jesus is with you! Despite how things are currently looking, don’t through in the towel, just hold on. Help is on its way. God is an amazing God who never ceases to stop helping and guiding us, once we keep our part to trust and acknowledge him. Sometimes as I sit and look at situation in my life and around me, I cannot stop thanking the Lord because I know he is my defender. For I acknowledge that none of the battles I face is mines, but the Lord.  Beauty Patience is truly divine, when you are waiting on the Lord. The beauty about patience, is when your complete trust is in the Lord, alone you know that he will always rescue you, despite, what your natural eyes is seeing. Sometimes, while waiting the time seems like it’s not moving and other times it is moving too fast. Nevertheless, God is always on time. Today, I give God praise because he did not give to me, my blessings when I thought I need it. Rather it was on his time.
