Mighty
Awesome
Run to Jesus... |
We
serve a mighty and awesome God who reigns over you and me. There is no other
god who can compare to Him. He is the Alpha and the Omega. He is the bright and
morning star. He is the Lilly of the valley. He is the great I AM. He is the
One who is and the One who is to come. Blessed be His Holy name. Yes, we must
praise the One and True living God, Jesus Christ. We must lift up His great
name. We must acknowledge him, in everything we do. For without him many of us
wouldn't be here. Without his grace and mercies, I sure could not be here.
Because of the price he has paid for my freedom, I will bless his wonderful
name. Can I get a witness? Glory hallelujah! Glory to the King of kings and the
Lord of lords!
There
are times, when you wake up and all you can do is to give God glory for what he
has done for you. There is no shame to who Christ Jesus is. Yes he is alive and
real, and to experience his greatness and holiness, you must acknowledge him.
You must go before his throne with thanksgiving in your heart. You must be of a
sound mind, knowing who you are and whom you belongs too. Despite your trials,
your struggles, your short comings, trust in the Lord God. He doesn't want
perfect people, but he wants those who are willing to acknowledge and seek his
presence.
When
we read about King David, he was not a perfect man but he was a man considered
to be after God’s heart. Why? Because he never stops trusting in God, he
acknowledges him at all times. Even when he has done wrong, he run into the
arms of God and ask for forgiveness and God always dealt with him accordingly.
God never push him away or reminded him of all his wrong. God loved him
unconditionally and he loves us unconditionally. But we must acknowledge him. Let today be a day where you run into the
arms of God and acknowledge who He is. Don’t look to your right or left but
look to Jesus.
Shout with joy to the
Lord, all the earth! Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing
with joy. Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are his. [a] We
are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go
into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the
Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness
continues to each generation. (Psalm 100)
Be
Blessed.
