Progress

 Over Time
Is your hope in the Lord?...
“just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved” (Ephesians 1:4-6)

Wouldn't it be awesome if you woke up one day and all that you need is right in front of you? All your bills paid on time, no sickness, no problems, etc. Of course it would be. Everyone wants their hearts desires to be fulfilled. Some people work for it, some just let it go and others take it by force. The best way is to surrender all to Jesus. Place all your hopes, dreams, desires and everything in his hands because you are sure to receive that which you need.

Nothing comes easy in life, but when you trust in the Lord, you will see evident that he is faithful and he does what he says he will do. His words never return to him void. Had it not been for the grace of God, I don’t think I would be here. But he is faithful. There are times I sit down and look at my old life and I know without a doubt, it was God who was protecting me. His everlasting love never stops and it never hurts.

You know the Bible said that God knew each of us before the foundation of the earth, and when you stop and think about that it is awesome. There are times, I wonder if I have fulfilled most of his promises in my life. But then again having a relationship now with him is much better. When you have the ability to choose life over death, it’s a good thing. When you have a choice to pray through your problems and know God is with you it’s an awesome thing. It’s when you don’t know who you are and whom you belongs you, problems tend to tick to you like glue.

My friends, we serve an awesome God. He does not look for perfection. He looks for an open heart. He wants a relationship with you. He wants to love and take care of you. He wants to hear about your hurts and disappointments. He wants you. When you surrender all to Jesus, overtime you will see the changes you desire in life. You will notice that things are working out much better and you don’t have to fight any battles on your own. You will fight but you will get the victory every time! If you haven’t accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, I encourage you to seek him out today. Remember you don’t have to be perfect, just open minded to trust in him. Be encouraged and stay blessed.
