Allow God to help you keep clean.....
Most people like a clean house or even new things. But in order to have a clean place or have new things you have to work for it. You have to spend time cleaning your home so it would always look nice. Or you have to work in order to get paid so you purchase the new clothing you need or want. In any case both require work. As I spend some time over my school break to clean my home and run errands, I normal don’t have time to do it was refreshing.

My home feels lighter and less clutter. My errands were accomplished and I fell refreshed. As I sit and thank the Lord for helping me to accomplish all that I need to do, it came in my spirit that many people need to clean their spiritual life. They need to uncluttered bad behaviors, hurts, malice, anger etc. In order for us to see the glory of God we cannot walk around with heaviness, in our life or heart.

We have to learn how to surrender all to Jesus. We have to clean our heart, so we can be open to what God have in store for us. When we walk around feeling heavy, there isn’t much we can get accomplish, because we find ourselves caught up trying to figure things out. Instead of, allowing God to work through and work out our burdens. The word of God said, “30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. 32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you” (Ephesians 4:30-32).


My friends, what type of housekeeping do you need to do today? God does not look at our outer appearance but our inner man (heart). Don’t be fooled that it is okay to walk around with things inside that you need to let go of. Ask the Lord to help you keep a clean heart and to renew a right spirit in you daily. Remember God does not look for perfection, but any open heart. For none of us is perfect including me.  Whatever you have in your closet, do some soul searching and ask God to help you clean, and when you do you will feel much lighter and much more refreshed. Dare to trust God in everything. Keep a clean heart and be blessed.

What is self-care? When we think of self-care, we usually think of a vacation, going to the spa, shopping, or spending time alone. This can be true, but how do you care for yourself when you constantly put everything and everyone in front of you? Whether it is your spouse, family, children, friends, work, etc. Some people consider self-care selfish, but no one will care for you if you don’t care for yourself. There was a time when I cared for everyone, expecting myself. Don’t get me wrong, I still care for others, but I ensure self-care first. Create in me a clean heart Lord Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God (Psalm 90:1-2). There is no body like Jesus. My friends every day we must make it our business to connected to God. We have to make sure that our heart is clean and righteous before Him. The days are becoming shorter and shorter and at any moment God can come. The question we must answered, is our priority in order? I don’t know about you but I want to make sure my heart is clean every day before the Lord. I want the Lord to create a clean heart and renew His spirit within me. Relax, Jesus is with you! Despite how things are currently looking, don’t through in the towel, just hold on. Help is on its way. God is an amazing God who never ceases to stop helping and guiding us, once we keep our part to trust and acknowledge him. Sometimes as I sit and look at situation in my life and around me, I cannot stop thanking the Lord because I know he is my defender. For I acknowledge that none of the battles I face is mines, but the Lord.  Beauty Patience is truly divine, when you are waiting on the Lord. The beauty about patience, is when your complete trust is in the Lord, alone you know that he will always rescue you, despite, what your natural eyes is seeing. Sometimes, while waiting the time seems like it’s not moving and other times it is moving too fast. Nevertheless, God is always on time. Today, I give God praise because he did not give to me, my blessings when I thought I need it. Rather it was on his time.     In life, you will experience many disappointments. But the one person you cannot afford to disappoint is yourself. When everyone has let you down, you must learn to encourage yourself. What does disappointment look like? Be BOLD in Christ, Jesus! “And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word” (Acts 4:29). God is amazing and his love for us endures forever. There are times when situation arise in our life and we must confront it immediately. Don’t wait to assess it rather nip in the roots ASAP before it grows and become a tree. How many of you could recall that when you were in the world you were bold. The minute anyone looks at you the wrong way, you were ready to cut them up with either a look or words. Yes, I raised my hands. Some of you might still be that way, but when the enemy sends trouble your way, your mouth is closed.
