What’s Your Career Choice?

God’s hands working on your career. 

Have you ever ask yourself, what is the best profession? I did. For I have discovered, we all have our own profession(s). Some of us are working in our profession. Some are not and others are working on it. Nevertheless, what every God gave to you, be good at it and know that you are bless.
 On one of my journey, I wanted to know what the best profession. For quite a while, in several conversations with many people at different times, I notice they were unhappy in their profession. Some are always changing, not knowing what they want.  Some people have a sense that they want a profession, which makes money. And in some cases, they desire another person job.
The Lord said, to me, everyone have their own unique talents. What is yours, is yours. What is theirs, is theirs. How many times do some of you compare yourself to others? I am guilty. I remember when the enemy would attack me, he pointed out my faults.  Every so often, he never stopped comparing me to others. His negative words, would say "you are not good like so and so, the pastor wife, etc. (time to press the delete button IJN). But God said, He will clear the records. He said, “I am the only one who have the best skills and talent as a carpenter, because I can break things down, and built it up again”. AMEN
God said, He chooses the design, the structures, the desires, but it is up to you to build upon what He has given to you. It like the bible verse about the talents, “For it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted to them his property. To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away. He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he made five talents more. So also he who had the two talents made two talents more. But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master's money. ... (Mathew 25: 14-30).  Whatever your talents are, it is up to you to build upon it, or keep it the same.
 When God comes into our lives, He takes out the old and put in the new. If you were depressed, He takes it out and put in joy. If you were broke, He takes it away and put in riches, the list goes on and on. But know that, He has the best profession.  Therefore, stop comparing yourself. Stop pondering on what is and what if and move forward to check in with Christ Jesus to see what talents, He has deposit in you and move on.

How to Self-care

What is self-care? When we think of self-care, we usually think of a vacation, going to the spa, shopping, or spending time alone. This can be true, but how do you care for yourself when you constantly put everything and everyone in front of you? Whether it is your spouse, family, children, friends, work, etc. Some people consider self-care selfish, but no one will care for you if you don’t care for yourself. There was a time when I cared for everyone, expecting myself. Don’t get me wrong, I still care for others, but I ensure self-care first. When I was people-pleasing, I set no boundaries; I wanted to please everyone except myself. Whether someone asked me to do something, I did it. Whether I was exhausted, I got the task done. Heart

Create in me a clean heart Lord Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God (Psalm 90:1-2). There is no body like Jesus. My friends every day we must make it our business to connected to God. We have to make sure that our heart is clean and righteous before Him. The days are becoming shorter and shorter and at any moment God can come. The question we must answered, is our priority in order? I don’t know about you but I want to make sure my heart is clean every day before the Lord. I want the Lord to create a clean heart and renew His spirit within me. Relax, Jesus is with you! Despite how things are currently looking, don’t through in the towel, just hold on. Help is on its way. God is an amazing God who never ceases to stop helping and guiding us, once we keep our part to trust and acknowledge him. Sometimes as I sit and look at situation in my life and around me, I cannot stop thanking the Lord because I know he is my defender. For I acknowledge that none of the battles I face is mines, but the Lord. Don’t get frustrated and don’t come out from under the covering of God, because know once he is for you, who can be against you. Today we live in a world where people are jealous of others. No one wants to work for their own. Rather they desire other people blessings and spend endless time trying to obtain it. But thank God for Jesus.  Beauty Patience is truly divine, when you are waiting on the Lord. The beauty about patience, is when your complete trust is in the Lord, alone you know that he will always rescue you, despite, what your natural eyes is seeing. Sometimes, while waiting the time seems like it’s not moving and other times it is moving too fast. Nevertheless, God is always on time. Today, I give God praise because he did not give to me, my blessings when I thought I need it. Rather it was on his time. Had I receive my blessings too earlier, I would have missed his true power being manifest in my life. I would be lost in the world without any hope for my future.     In life, you will experience many disappointments. But the one person you cannot afford to disappoint is yourself. When everyone has let you down, you must learn to encourage yourself. What does disappointment look like? It looks like when people reject you, when people abandon you when people believe you will turn out to be nothing good, when people on your job try to sabotage your work, when your family doesn’t support you, when people who you have help and though is your friend tells lies on you etc. Disappointment can look different to each of us depending on how you view and see your situation.   I love to talk about my situation because it helps me heal, grow, and develop into the woman God says I am. Be BOLD in Christ, Jesus! “And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word” (Acts 4:29). God is amazing and his love for us endures forever. There are times when situation arise in our life and we must confront it immediately. Don’t wait to assess it rather nip in the roots ASAP before it grows and become a tree. How many of you could recall that when you were in the world you were bold. The minute anyone looks at you the wrong way, you were ready to cut them up with either a look or words. Yes, I raised my hands. Some of you might still be that way, but when the enemy sends trouble your way, your mouth is closed. You begin to cry and in some cases you tell others your problems, well known that they can’t help you. Well guess what, the same boldness you have or would have had, use it to against the enemy.
