As I watch him and his kids, I saw that the son hugged the dad and told him, how much he loved him. I was blown away, because we don’t see many children expressing their love to their fathers in public. When we think of God, we see how much he loved us that he gave his only son for us. And that’s amazing. We as believers and people of God needs to acknowledge and recognize the importance of men, in our life, children, and society. ( Yes they are bad ones and God can changed them. For now we are focusing on the righteous man of God). The bible teaches us that we must love one another. Narrative Are you seeing what Christ sees... As you wait on your blessings, you have to change your negative story. A narrative helps you to rewrite your story to more positive one. In other words, start to change your thinking to line it up with the word of God. Christ teaches us that we, should “ not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect” (Romans 12:2 ). This simply means that in order for change to take place in your life, it begins in your mind. However, be very careful, for it is the thoughts  of our mind that causes us to have a victory or to be defeated. Victory of the Lord is always sweet.... Who has the victory.... It is a blessing when you have the victory. In life many people wants a blessing, but not many are willing to make a sacrifice. Sacrifices simply mean praying, fasting, and planting a seed, plus being a faithful tither. Some of you, will do one or all the steps  require to get your blessings. However the choices is always yours. But the key to your victory is when you believe and trust God with all your heart. The Bible teaches us that we must pray without seizing, because we never know when God will show up. It also teaches us that we should love one another and pray for each other. It is good when you are a praying person. It is even better when you pray for others because God will bless the person and you as well.  Whose report will you beleive... Where does believe begin? It begins in your mind, that's why Christ said we are transformed by the renewing of our mind. It is your believe that would help you to overcome. What you believe in, that’s what will make or break you. Whatever you feed your mind that’s what you will become. Suppose you believe you are rich then you will become rich. Why? Because you will try to find ways in which you can make yourself wealthy. Do you agree or not? Prayers It is a blessing when you know who you are and whom you belongs to. I thank God that I am a child of God and whom he blesses, no man curse. As this is year of double honor, many of us have something we want to achieve. The Lord said that we should, “ write down the special dream on stone so that one may read it in a hurry. 3 For it is not yet time for it to come true. The time is coming in a hurry, and it will come true. If you think it is slow in coming, wait for it. For it will happen for sure, and it will not wait. 4 As for the proud one, his soul is not right in him.  Facing the storms....  The Lord is keeping you....  When the storms and life issues start roaring at you, you can sometimes become worried and fearful. But the Lord teaches us not to be afraid but to put our trust in him. “Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart” (Psalm 37:1-4). What are the storms? Storms can be your children given you problems. You have lost your job. You are unable to pay your bills. Your spouse has left, etc. the list could be endless. But know what every situation you are faced with today, that’s your storms. Remember to hold on, change is coming. For Jesus will catch you, before you fall, that’s if you trust him to catch you. Walking  Strengthen me, Lord for the journey  As I walk I am getting tired, but the word of God encourages me to stay on task. There are times you get weary in your walk, but don’t give up, lift your hand to the hill from where your strength comes, for your strength comes from the Lord. Every day you must choose to do right or wrong. Whether it is in your home, job, school, neighborhood, you have to make a choice, to either honor what God say or to do your own will. But having your own will, would not get you anywhere; it only leads down the path of destruction, and into the hands of the enemy.   As you are faced many trials, you start to wonder if God is really there for you. You begin to look around and pounder, then you realize you are going under that’s when you have to cry out for Jesus to help you. Here I am saying, Lord, help me to stay focus, help me to keep my eyes on you and not to be distracted about what I don’t have, but help me Lord to know that better ...

Rationalize It will open and come down Realization is a type of excuses. It is used to explain the why NOTS . But when you are a child of God there is no room to rationalize your situations. It is either yes or no .   However, too often many of us give up when we have try without any success. But we need to ask ourselves, how hard we are trying. Let’s look at the bible passages in Mathew 7:7, which states, “Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened for you”. Simple right, not really, because how many of you have been seeking can’t find, knocking, and the door seems not to open.   As I  meditate on the word, with the Lord, he said the problem is not with the knocking, asking or seeking, but the person ability to keep knocking, seeking and asking HIM to navigate them through the situation. He knew he had his Father work to complete, but I believe the suffering made him fed-up. There are times when you are going through a struggle and believe me, it seems worse than death. Because if you die, you will make to heaven, that’s if you are a believer. But when you have to suffer whether it is in your health, family or finances, it’s the worst struggle.  God is able to Restore  Forgiveness When you truly forgive some from your heart, God can step-in and being the healing process. I was meditating on Ephesians 6:1-4 which states, “ Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother”-which is the first commandments with a promise. So that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on earth”. Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in training and instruction of the Lord.  As I thought about the passage,  my mind wondered about the many people who  were hurt by their parents when they were younger and still today is unable to forgive them. Likewise, parents have done many things to hurt their children and don’t seem to think anything of it. Jesus Always Loves You Love Today many want to know if they are loved. But the question that needs to be answered is whose love are you looking for? The message for today is simple, how do you get love, when you don’t know what is true love is? Love is not something or someone who only remembers you on one day, but daily. Don’t get caught up in spending what you don’t have to prove your love to anyone. First, you must love yourself. The best love to give anyone is Christ loved. We all know of the Bible verse, that say Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so . Yes that's true love . When Jesus loves you, it means a lot. His love never fades, it never hurts, it never turns its' back on you during hard and difficult times and it never talk bad about you. But always loves you. Do you know the word for yourself? Repetition I recently observed that the key to success is repetition. You may ask why? In order to master any skills you must be good at it.   For example, none of us are Bible Scholar. Well I speak for myself. Nevertheless, the more time I spend in the word, reading and meditating, the better I become of being aware of Gods’ promises for my life.   Many of us want to be successful individual, but you have to put in the work, in order to prove yourself, or even to stand out from the crowd. I was talking to a kid and he told me that he goes to R eligion School and it is boring. He explained that you read these books and then answer the questions. (Now I know the God, I served is kind, sweet, awesome and a miracle worker). He had the book and he showed it to me. As I review the book I find myself being bored, because I was trying to understand Jesus through a text book. I have discovered that the Bible is not a text book or ...

Headache Lord Help ME!!!! There are times when we have an assignment to complete and you get a BIG headache .   You were fine, but the minute you know you have to do something, there it a sudden headache. Does anyone know what I am talking about? Yes, that nasty migraine, where you can think and all you do is focus on the pain. Well the devil is a liar, IJN. For the past couple of weeks I have just been on a move, move mode. I have many things to accomplish and I am trying to accomplish them one by one. Then I realize, as I prepare to study some materials, my God headache as crazy , that’s when I know I am on the right track. I realize that the enemy will send all kinds of distractions to you when he knows you are getting ready to walk into your promised land. The word of God said, “ Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Fear Not  Relax in God's presence  Fear is an emotion that can paralyze a person. According to the dictionary, fear means to “to be afraid or apprehensive”. The Bible tells us “ Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me” (Psalm 23:4). However, there are times when you are walking through that valley and you forget the word of God, which says he will always be with you. Over the weekend, I was watching a show called, “Untold Stories of ER”. There was one story that strikes me; there was a young man who was rushed to ER, non-responsive to any questions asked of him. He was in a cationic stage (only stared and no body movement). The only sounds came out his mouth was a lot scream of person who needs help. Every so often he would just scream out. His wife said he was healthy man. All test results were normal. The only thing left was to give him psychiatric meds in ...

Protect your blessings!!!!   God + Children= Blessings The Bible tells us, that children are a blessing. Many of us are parent(s) and as a parent(s), you always want the best for your children. Being a parent(s) is not always an easy job and it is sometime challenging. But, the word of God says to “train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). Many of us are believers and we pray for our children daily, believing as we do our part, God will send forth his angles to protect them. Now we must be serious with ourselves and be aware that our children are not going to always be around “goodly people”, for a lack of better words. However, we too are not always around “goodly people”. We work around different people of many beliefs, ethnic cultures and the list goes. But we who, are in the light of Christ Jesus always stand out from the crowd. This also goes for our children. You must know that just as Satan has his ey...

Good Families Have you ever notice every time you are doing good evil present itself. But guess what? Keep doing good, because it overcomes evil. On a daily basis we are faced with a challenge to do good or evil. We have to put our fleshly desires under subjection, to do that which is goodly and right.   Paul said, “ So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me” (Romans 7:21). Many of us have done good thing for people and sometimes, they have turned against us for no reason.   Nevertheless, keep doing  good because God requires it from us. For this topic we will focus on family members. I must admit, some family members are nice, and you want to spent time with them. Then there are others, hmmm, well, I rather not say. But you get the point.   One thing I have learned while being in the kingdom of God is, we must love and pray for each and every one of our family members daily. Everyday Situation Is Jesus part of your alarm system? It is amazing how the Lord can use and an everyday life situation to teach us more and more about him. Couple days ago, I was at the super market shopping. As I stand online at the register, I could happen to notice that the cashier was a good looking young man (no don’t get the wrong ideas). There was an older woman in front of me and  as she checkout, she was speaking to cashier. At one point, she told him he didn’t look too well, and suggested that he should have someone make him some soup. To my amazement he responded and said I don’t need anyone to make soup for me. I am a proud mama's boy and she takes care of me. It didn’t matter what suggested. He maintained and stands his grounds letting her know, he is well taken care of at home, and that he was not ashamed to say so! (Amen). After the woman left I said wow, you stood your grounds. He said, it is  safer to eat at home. I could happen to think about...

Test Stand firm and know, God is in the fire with you Test and trials comes into our life to strengthen and empower us. There are time when you are going through your trials, you feel alone. But know that's a lie from the enemy himself. You must know and know that God is always with you; he will never leave or forsake you. We all need to go through the fire. There is no escape, but comfort when you know that God is with you. No one should expect to get a victory without any fight. If your back was not against the wall, would you call on Jesus? For some of us of course not! We will not call on him, because there was not a need. Our backs against the wall represent our trials. When we overcome that means we have won the battle. Each time as you grow strong and stronger in the Lord and you become depended on him, be prepare for some full blown attacks . But guess what? The battle has already won in Jesus name.
