Fathers, Brothers, and Sons

We love and bless you

Let the blessing of the Lord be upon you....

Men are important figures and role model in our life. The other day, I saw a man walking with his children. As I watch him and his kids, I saw that the son hugged the dad and told him, how much he loved him. I was blown away, because we don’t see many children expressing their love to their fathers in public.
When we think of God, we see how much he loved us that he gave his only son for us. And that’s amazing. We as believers and people of God needs to acknowledge and recognize the importance of men, in our life, children, and society. (Yes they are bad ones and God can changed them. For now we are focusing on the righteous man of God). The bible teaches us that we must love one another. Most of us know there is power in the word of God and we should, strive to use these words to empower all men. David was a mighty man of God and he made many mistakes, but he was considered to be a man, after God's heart.
The word for today is, don’t allow the little faults of any man, to cause you to dislike them. Be aware that it is true of the word of God that says, “For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual [hosts] of wickedness in the heavenly [places]” (Ephesians 6:12). They key is to look beyond their faults and see their needs. We must remember that we all have sinned and fall short of Gods’ glory.
Take some time and tell the men in your life, how much you appreciate them. It could be your spouse, child father, step father, next door neighbors, boss, etc. you get the point. But let’s us get into the habit of encouraging the men more, especially when they are a mighty man of God. Loves covers a multitude of sins. And when we show love to our men, young boys, fathers and brothers, we are being Christ like, with our love. Unfortunately, men do not always receive the respect they deserve. But we thank God that, we who are believers can and will continue to acknowledge, pray and empowering them with his blessings and words. "Dear friends, let us love each other, because love comes from God. Those who love are God’s children and they know God". (1 John4:7).
Of course it not Father's day as yet. But in the kingdom of God, there is no need for any special occasion to show love and appreciation.  When God is in the mix, love is love and all we need to do is acknowledge what he is doing.  Don’t just wait for one day in year to acknowledge the men in your life but try to let it be known as much as possible. Maybe you can start today.
Be blessed.
