Protect your blessings!!!!

  God + Children= Blessings

The Bible tells us, that children are a blessing. Many of us are parent(s) and as a parent(s), you always want the best for your children. Being a parent(s) is not always an easy job and it is sometime challenging. But, the word of God says to “train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). Many of us are believers and we pray for our children daily, believing as we do our part, God will send forth his angles to protect them.

Now we must be serious with ourselves and be aware that our children are not going to always be around “goodly people”, for a lack of better words. However, we too are not always around “goodly people”. We work around different people of many beliefs, ethnic cultures and the list goes. But we who, are in the light of Christ Jesus always stand out from the crowd. This also goes for our children. You must know that just as Satan has his eyes on us, he has his eyes on our children. We must be careful that Satan is not working through strife, confusion, or jealousy to attract negative attention to our children.

When you, know and know, and know that you are raising your children the way God says, do not allow the devil to speak anything contrary to God’s will and promises over your children. I am not saying that our children don’t do wrong. Nevertheless, beware that the devil is so cunning that he will turn parents away from supporting, loving and caring for their children. Did anyone every complained to your parents about you, and it was not true? You try to tell your parents what happen and they didn’t listen. Your parents only listened to the other person because they were a well-respected person. But guess what? The DEVIL WORKS, IN, AND WITH THEM TOO.

When you are a believer and a child of God you don’t need to listen to ANY negative words spoken over your children, family or self! Instead, bind them up with the blood of Jesus. Get a GRIP! Be prepared to battle! Put on your shields; grab a hold of the word of God and start declaring what you know God said about your children. Don't tear or beat them down because someone said something.  No! The devil is a liar!

We have the power to go into fasting and prayers to God and he will war on our behalf. We served a God who is the way and the truth! Why not check-in with him, and sees what he says. The Lord said our children are blessings. He said, “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court (Psalm 127:3-5). Begin to cherish your children at a young age. Loved them, raised them in the way they should go and mostly importantly give them to Christ Jesus. He will always defend them against any tricks and attacks from the devil (that thief and robber). Be blessed and keep watch over your blessings.
