 God is…
Bless the Lord, all my soul...
The Lord is awesome and wonderful. He is a helper, our present help in time of trouble. He is the Alpha and omega. He is the great I AM. He is the Beginning and the End.  Sometimes you just have to forget about everything and everyone and worship the Lord. Let him know how much you love and appreciate him. How much you need him. How much you are thankful for his grace and mercies. How much you adore him.  God loves when we acknowledge his presence and speak to him. Even though we may think he knows what is going on, he loves to hear it from us, about how we are hurting and how we are trusting in him.

“Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s 6 The Lord executes righteousness And justice for all who are oppressed.7 He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel.8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.9 He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever.10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins ,Nor punished us according to our iniquities.11 For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;12 As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.13 As a father pities his children, So the Lord pities those who fear Him.14 For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.15 As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.16 For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, And its place remembers it no more.[a]17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting. On those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children…” (Psalm 103:1-17)


Therefore, forget about everything that’s going on around you and focus on Jesus. Focus on his loving kindness. Focus on his healing powers. Focus on his strength. Focus on all his goodness and greatness. As you focus on him, you will feel your entire burden being lifted away. Just speak and worship God and see changes. Be Blessed

What is self-care? When we think of self-care, we usually think of a vacation, going to the spa, shopping, or spending time alone. This can be true, but how do you care for yourself when you constantly put everything and everyone in front of you? Whether it is your spouse, family, children, friends, work, etc. Some people consider self-care selfish, but no one will care for you if you don’t care for yourself. There was a time when I cared for everyone, expecting myself. Don’t get me wrong, I still care for others, but I ensure self-care first. When I was people-pleasing, I set no boundaries; I wanted to please everyone except myself. Whether someone asked me to do something, I did it. Whether I was exhausted, I got the task done. Create in me a clean heart Lord Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God (Psalm 90:1-2). There is no body like Jesus. My friends every day we must make it our business to connected to God. We have to make sure that our heart is clean and righteous before Him. The days are becoming shorter and shorter and at any moment God can come. The question we must answered, is our priority in order? I don’t know about you but I want to make sure my heart is clean every day before the Lord. I want the Lord to create a clean heart and renew His spirit within me. Relax, Jesus is with you! Despite how things are currently looking, don’t through in the towel, just hold on. Help is on its way. God is an amazing God who never ceases to stop helping and guiding us, once we keep our part to trust and acknowledge him. Sometimes as I sit and look at situation in my life and around me, I cannot stop thanking the Lord because I know he is my defender. For I acknowledge that none of the battles I face is mines, but the Lord. Don’t get frustrated and don’t come out from under the covering of God, because know once he is for you, who can be against you. Today we live in a world where people are jealous of others. No one wants to work for their own. Rather they desire other people blessings and spend endless time trying to obtain it. But thank God for Jesus.  Beauty Patience is truly divine, when you are waiting on the Lord. The beauty about patience, is when your complete trust is in the Lord, alone you know that he will always rescue you, despite, what your natural eyes is seeing. Sometimes, while waiting the time seems like it’s not moving and other times it is moving too fast. Nevertheless, God is always on time. Today, I give God praise because he did not give to me, my blessings when I thought I need it. Rather it was on his time. What does disappointment look like? Be BOLD in Christ, Jesus! “And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word” (Acts 4:29). God is amazing and his love for us endures forever. There are times when situation arise in our life and we must confront it immediately. Don’t wait to assess it rather nip in the roots ASAP before it grows and become a tree. How many of you could recall that when you were in the world you were bold. The minute anyone looks at you the wrong way, you were ready to cut them up with either a look or words. Yes, I raised my hands. Some of you might still be that way, but when the enemy sends trouble your way, your mouth is closed. You begin to cry and in some cases you tell others your problems, well known that they can’t help you. Well guess what, the same boldness you have or would have had, use it to against the enemy.
