Relax in the Lord's Peace....
It is so important that we make time to rest. Many of us are busy, we have several jobs. We have a family. We have to make time and do God’s work to encourage others. But we have to make time to rest. For it is useless to empower others, when you are running on empty and don’t have the strength of the Lord. You have to set aside time just for you and most importantly time to relax in the Lord presence to receive his abundance of peace, love, grace and mercies.

Honestly, speaking I am a person who likes to keep busy. I am always working on a something, whether it’s in my home or just encouraging others, I keep busy. Most importantly I MUST make time to spend with the Lord, because I cannot rely on my own strength to do the things I do. Believe me without God is my life, I would be useless, and unable to encourage others and self.

No I am not super woman or perfect, far from it. But I realize, in order for me to succeed and be useful, I must seek God’s presence. I must seek his guidance. I must rely on him. I must accept correction when he corrects me. I must humble myself and trust in him, in all I do. I must decrease me and increase his awareness and presence in my life. Which is not always easy, but once I acknowledge my wrongs and short coming, God always make away.


Today I want encourage, even if you are feeling weary, seek God presence. Seek his guidance. Seek his direction. Seek him for yourself, and when you do, you will no longer rely on your own strength but things will be much easier. You will realize, “I can do all things through Christ[b] who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). Amen.  Therefore, don’t be discouraged; don’t stop trusting in the Lord. Don’t give up or give in, but make time and spend with the Lord. Renew your strength and receive his grace and peace. Know that he will not give to you what you cannot handle. But to keep pushing forward you need to make time for him. Be blessed.

What is self-care? When we think of self-care, we usually think of a vacation, going to the spa, shopping, or spending time alone. This can be true, but how do you care for yourself when you constantly put everything and everyone in front of you? Whether it is your spouse, family, children, friends, work, etc. Some people consider self-care selfish, but no one will care for you if you don’t care for yourself. There was a time when I cared for everyone, expecting myself. Don’t get me wrong, I still care for others, but I ensure self-care first. Create in me a clean heart Lord Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God (Psalm 90:1-2). There is no body like Jesus. My friends every day we must make it our business to connected to God. We have to make sure that our heart is clean and righteous before Him. The days are becoming shorter and shorter and at any moment God can come. The question we must answered, is our priority in order? I don’t know about you but I want to make sure my heart is clean every day before the Lord. I want the Lord to create a clean heart and renew His spirit within me. Relax, Jesus is with you! Despite how things are currently looking, don’t through in the towel, just hold on. Help is on its way. God is an amazing God who never ceases to stop helping and guiding us, once we keep our part to trust and acknowledge him. Sometimes as I sit and look at situation in my life and around me, I cannot stop thanking the Lord because I know he is my defender. For I acknowledge that none of the battles I face is mines, but the Lord.  Beauty Patience is truly divine, when you are waiting on the Lord. The beauty about patience, is when your complete trust is in the Lord, alone you know that he will always rescue you, despite, what your natural eyes is seeing. Sometimes, while waiting the time seems like it’s not moving and other times it is moving too fast. Nevertheless, God is always on time. Today, I give God praise because he did not give to me, my blessings when I thought I need it. Rather it was on his time.     In life, you will experience many disappointments. But the one person you cannot afford to disappoint is yourself. When everyone has let you down, you must learn to encourage yourself. What does disappointment look like? Be BOLD in Christ, Jesus! “And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word” (Acts 4:29). God is amazing and his love for us endures forever. There are times when situation arise in our life and we must confront it immediately. Don’t wait to assess it rather nip in the roots ASAP before it grows and become a tree. How many of you could recall that when you were in the world you were bold. The minute anyone looks at you the wrong way, you were ready to cut them up with either a look or words. Yes, I raised my hands. Some of you might still be that way, but when the enemy sends trouble your way, your mouth is closed.
