Abiding in the Lord

Even in the fire, TRUST in the Lord!
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust” (Psalm 91:1-2).

When we are standing on the solid rock, Jesus Christ, we know that we are in good hands. We know that nothing forming against us shall prosper. We know that the storm and challenges of life will come, but it would not affect us because we are no longer trust in ourselves by we are trusting in Jesus, the one who has come, die, rose again and is to come again. When I think about Jesus and all he has done for me, I can rejoice with gladness because he has changed my family and me around. He has blessed my family, friends and loved ones. He has blessed many and he still continues to bless us despite our faults and that’s how great he is.

Whose report do you believe, when you are in the fire? You best believe God’s report. You best stand on his promises. You best know who you are and whom you belong too. A great story was told about the three Hebrew boys and God was with them in the fire. The intensity did not harm or destroy them and many times when we feel the fire, we tend to run. We tend to doubt and question where God is. But let me tell you it is not time to run and hide. It is time to stand and trust in the Lord even more. Lately I have been telling myself, when faced with any situation, if God brought me out the last one; he will bring me out this one.

It’s not always easy but when my faith arise and I stand on the word of God, that which the enemy meant for bad, God always turn it around for Good. But it only works when you believe with all your heart and don’t doubt the powers of God. Trusting is the most important factor when you are a believer of Jesus. You have to forget about your ways and thinking and allow God to direct your path even when things do not make any sense.  I guess, that's why faith is consider to be crazy at times because we don’t always do thing the way man would, but what we believe will cause God to attend to our situation. My friends whatever you are facing today don’t give in and don’t give up. Remember if God brought you out the last time, he will bring you out this time. Know that no weapons forming against you will ever prosper. Just keep trusting in the Lord. Be blessed.

What is self-care? When we think of self-care, we usually think of a vacation, going to the spa, shopping, or spending time alone. This can be true, but how do you care for yourself when you constantly put everything and everyone in front of you? Create in me a clean heart Lord Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God (Psalm 90:1-2). There is no body like Jesus. My friends every day we must make it our business to connected to God. We have to make sure that our heart is clean and righteous before Him. The days are becoming shorter and shorter and at any moment God can come. The question we must answered, is our priority in order? I don’t know about you but I want to make sure my heart is clean every day before the Lord. I want the Lord to create a clean heart and renew His spirit within me. Relax, Jesus is with you! Despite how things are currently looking, don’t through in the towel, just hold on. Help is on its way. God is an amazing God who never ceases to stop helping and guiding us, once we keep our part to trust and acknowledge him. Sometimes as I sit and look at situation in my life and around me, I cannot stop thanking the Lord because I know he is my defender. For I acknowledge that none of the battles I face is mines, but the Lord.  Beauty Patience is truly divine, when you are waiting on the Lord. The beauty about patience, is when your complete trust is in the Lord, alone you know that he will always rescue you, despite, what your natural eyes is seeing. Sometimes, while waiting the time seems like it’s not moving and other times it is moving too fast. Nevertheless, God is always on time. Be BOLD in Christ, Jesus! “And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word” (Acts 4:29). God is amazing and his love for us endures forever. There are times when situation arise in our life and we must confront it immediately. Don’t wait to assess it rather nip in the roots ASAP before it grows and become a tree. How many of you could recall that when you were in the world you were bold. The minute anyone looks at you the wrong way, you were ready to cut them up with either a look or words. Yes, I raised my hands. Some of you might still be that way, but when the enemy sends trouble your way, your mouth is closed.
