The Lord is your defender!
Trying to stay focus can sometimes, be very difficult. But when you have any assignment to complete, you have to stay focus, in order to complete it. When we read Luke 22:39-43, we would see Jesus praying to his Father about the matter at hand, before, he was crucified. Wow! That was truly being focus, in my opinion. We also read that he asked his disciples to come and prayed with him, but when he return from praying the first time they were asleep.

Like many of us, we have things to do, and yet we are spiritually sleeping. This is the time to WAKE UP and fight. You cannot afford to sleep, when the enemy is in your camp. It is time to WAR. You know the saying, “I DECLARE WAR”. Have you ever tried to read or do something and find yourself in and out of sleep (being drowsy)? Yes or no, it can mean two things. You are either naturally tired, or a distraction from the enemy, not to allow you to stay focus to complete your obligations.

I believe when Jesus went to pray, he asked for strength because he knew he had to complete his father work. As Jesus asked his Heavenly Father for strength for his journey, so shall we asked for daily strength to complete our missions.  Remember Jesus asked for strength and he received it. In verse 43 is states “an angle from heaven appeared to him and strength him” (Luke 22:43). Amen, Lord, I need some strength in Jesus name.

I don’t know what task or challenges you are faced with. But if you need strength, rest assured that God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit is your go to man, to receive strength. You must recognize that you cannot accomplish all you want without Christ Jesus in your life. For we know, he is the way, the truth and the light. Do you need strength today? Well this is what the word said, “I do all things through Christ who strengthen me” (Philippians 4:13). Yes, Lord, I received your strength in Jesus name. Hallelujah! What does Christ strength mean? You need to have God’s grace, mercy, and guidance, everything he has to offers to you to be strengthened. I pray that you will seek his strength, for I will. Be blessed and receive strength from the Lord.

What is self-care? When we think of self-care, we usually think of a vacation, going to the spa, shopping, or spending time alone. This can be true, but how do you care for yourself when you constantly put everything and everyone in front of you? Create in me a clean heart Lord Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God (Psalm 90:1-2). There is no body like Jesus. My friends every day we must make it our business to connected to God. We have to make sure that our heart is clean and righteous before Him. The days are becoming shorter and shorter and at any moment God can come. The question we must answered, is our priority in order? I don’t know about you but I want to make sure my heart is clean every day before the Lord. I want the Lord to create a clean heart and renew His spirit within me. Relax, Jesus is with you! Despite how things are currently looking, don’t through in the towel, just hold on. Help is on its way. God is an amazing God who never ceases to stop helping and guiding us, once we keep our part to trust and acknowledge him. Sometimes as I sit and look at situation in my life and around me, I cannot stop thanking the Lord because I know he is my defender.  Beauty Patience is truly divine, when you are waiting on the Lord. The beauty about patience, is when your complete trust is in the Lord, alone you know that he will always rescue you, despite, what your natural eyes is seeing. Sometimes, while waiting the time seems like it’s not moving and other times it is moving too fast. Nevertheless, God is always on time. Be BOLD in Christ, Jesus! “And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word” (Acts 4:29). God is amazing and his love for us endures forever. There are times when situation arise in our life and we must confront it immediately. Don’t wait to assess it rather nip in the roots ASAP before it grows and become a tree. How many of you could recall that when you were in the world you were bold. The minute anyone looks at you the wrong way, you were ready to cut them up with either a look or words. Yes, I raised my hands. Some of you might still be that way, but when the enemy sends trouble your way, your mouth is closed.
